I bet it is tempting for some season ticket holders to sell a Chelsea ticket for £300. It basically pays a third of their season ticket for next year.
Unreal how much people will pay.
Regarding Palace, best way will be to go by the ground before the game. Still, there will be fans travelling from Liverpool in hope of getting one by the ground. People were getting on coaches to Norwich with no ticket.

Hundreds have done so, st renewal has come out just before the game and so many are strapped for cash its a no brainer. I gave my Aussie mate my ticket and paid £250 for a lower centenary seat for sunday.Unreal how much people will pay.

I honestly don't know what he thinks he achieves by talking such st all the time?
Makes him look a complete muppet sometimes IMHO. As if he's going to go into a potential title deciding game playing a 2nd string, 1st round Carling Cup strength squad...He's got 1st choice players missing but there's depth on the bench and the likes of Salah will be on. Lampard is suspended for the CL so bet he'll be warming up on Sunday afternoon Looking forward to Sunday, although think it will be a difficult game to come away with a win.

This is the problem at Spurs , Season ticket holders can sell the Arsenal & Chelsea game through stub hub & those two games will more or less pay the price of the season ticket.Unreal how much people will pay.

Not right in my opinion.

Dont see the problem tbh, supply and demand... they have the right too if some idiot wants to pay that much just to say there were there....Not right in my opinion.

Yeah i guess, but it just pushes the game towards the tourists & prawn sandwich brigade & out of reach the working class man & his kids.jammy_basturd said:
I think corporate tickets should be able to be resold in this manner. I think normal stand tickets should have to be resold through the club to make sure the prices remain within the reach of ordinary fans.
I'm pretty sure the goons do something like this.
But Spurs being Spurs just can't resist making even more money out of it's supporters.

I'll be at both Palace and Newcastle (ticketless), and looking to get in by paying over the odds. That's not because I'm an idiot that wants to say "I was there". It's because I've followed LFC home and away through some pretty awful times, and would like to witness and share in possibly one of the best times. Some people are content watching games from their armchair, others would rather be there in the flesh, and will pay what is affordable and justifiable to them.Black can man said:

Went away from them a LOOOOONNNGGG Time ago BCM, in reality what working class man can pay £130/£150 every 2 weeks to watch football with his kids... Germans have it right, but I doubt we will ever follow them.

That is my thoughts. I don't think there will never be a way to stop touting though. Even if we had a 70,000 seater stadium and it was a huge game there would still be touts. The club doesn't care. The least they have to do for maximum revenue the better.
I doubt many are content being armchair fans. I hate that word by the way.
People may not be able to afford going the game.
May not be able to get to Liverpool.
Might work weekends.
Everybody has different reasons.
I'd love to be at the game every week but I work 2 out of 3 weekends. That other 1 weekend we may be away.
Fair play to people who work 9-5 Mon-Friday with bulging bank accounts

What does my head in is the jabber of Scandinavian in my ear from the row behind as a Scandi travel agent must have those tickets for tourists. It's often compensate by being eye to muff with a hotty at half time
Well, apart from the hotty as he's a plump middle aged male, So why look down on them?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
