See Shelvey's goal for us today?

Incredible strike.

Waiting for motd for that very reason. Lad needed to play regularly and will only get better. He scored a very nice goal last time he came to Anfield too, that was applauded in the Kop.

Sold too soon - pity Bren hasn't said so really, Shelvey would have been happy on the bench and is just what we need to strengthen for next season.

Some of last summer's transfers were bizarre. Selling Shelvey, loaning out Suso and buying Alberto really didn't work out for us. Be interesting to see what happens this window. Still think we'll be looking for a central/attacking midfielder.

I would go with that too.

I would go with long term thinking. Would Suso or Shelvey really have come on as well as they have if they were constantly sat on the bench? How much playing time would they have really got? Have much playing time have Alberto and Aspas had?

This season not much as we played virtually the bare minimum possible games, next season I expect to break out of our CL group, get to a cup quarter or semi and challenge for top 4 - minimum 12 extra games and with a paper thin squad - we need players.

So we should have loaned him out maybe? For every good moment who would also do something silly when he played for us, agree he needed regular football

I agree, I would have preferred to see Shelvey loaned out. Having said that, would we play him ahead of Henderson, Couintho, Sterling, maybe even Allen (though he's less injury prone than Allen).

I think it should be 'might not work out for us' as opposed to 'really didn't work out for us' given we've had an amazing season I would say we've done just fine.

There was all the whinging back in Jan and that turned out well.

However agreed this coming transfer window is critical.

Where can I stream the game?

Never done it before, is it just click a link, wait for it to load and away you go with foreign commentators?

Go to the RAWK (Red And White Kop) website close to kick off and look on the "where can I watch the next game live?" thread. Will be plenty of links to simply click and view the game

That's about the 4th club he's been linked with.

He's not been linked with Southampton yet where he is the club captain. I can understand why so many people want him, but it's papers trying to sell themselves rather than fully factual at this stage

I like Lallana. We now seem to have an option of 2 main formations - 433 or 4312. He'd comfortably rotate with Coutinho and Sterling in both these systems and immediately improve our attacking midfield. He'd cost 20 million plus though.
