What'd you make of Allen's performance? At least Lucas's excuse was that it want his position. Allen was in his preferred position.
I remember the lad when he came in, always making angles, short sharp passes and making space. Yesterday bar the shot on goal he was again pretty average imo.
My glass half full says he's a good squad player for the League Cup next season. He's just not stepping up regardless of how often he starts.
And my glass overfilled part of me thinks at least he's better than that drink driving idiot we spent money on last summer.
Watching RedmanTV many of the fans after the match were saying he was out stand out player? Maybe that because he had 2 or 3 good shots on goal. I think he is a good squad player, but i agree we not seen the form of his first few games when he looked a real playerI remember the lad when he came in, always making angles, short sharp passes and making space. Have to say JC & Neville got the analysis of the game spot on last night on MNF. We just didn't attack them in the right way, the chimp won out and we panicked with long shots instead of playing passes into feet around the box as we have been doing all season for SAS too feed off.
Don't think title race is over, still think there will be another twist or turn, we just have to win these 2 games, and we can then see about the rest

City's title now unless Everton do us a favour, shame.
From the Daily Telegraph: Leighton Baines needs a scan on knee and calf injuries, while Sylvain Distin and Phil Jagielka have been nursing hamstring problems. Kevin Mirallas’ season is already over, and Gareth Barry – on loan from City – is ineligible.Game over.

The run in -
Liverpool:
Crystal Palace v Liverpool - 5/5
Liverpool v Newcastle - 11/5
Man C:
Everton v Man C - 3/5
Man C v Aston V - 7/5
Man C v West Ham - 11/5
Chelski:
Chelsea v Norwich - 5/5
Cardiff v Chelsea - 11/5
I cant see us winning the league
However 2nd place and a Champs League spot is amazing! Would have bitten Suarez's arm off if that had been suggested at season start.
I disagree. All of City's games will be cup games for the other teams. Everton still need to fight and the others have zero to lose.Liverpool:
