This is FIFA we are talking about, so anything goes...

At the very least this should lead to a repeat draw because he's a clumsy oaf, but we all know it won't happen as it doesn't suit FIFA.

Defo fixed. That's why England got the hardest group. FIFA have got to be the most corrupt organization on this planet end of. Bladder and his cronies namely the French troll hate us and will go to any lengths to eliminate us. Allegedly of course

No, that would be the International Olympic Committee. And any city that gets the Olympics has bribed it's way to the top of the voting. So, as London "won" the last Olympics, let's get off our high horses about corruption. The only time we moan about it is when we don't pay enough to benefit from it.

Doubt it was a straight draw. In fairness they put in the structure to make sure a draw would turn out how they wanted it too.

To have the Swiss and French in such an easy group. England getting screwed, Spain getting a tough group.
It just seems that all the teams with true potential to go far have been shafted, I would include Italy in that too.

Do the winners & runners up of Group E play the winners of an easier group too?

Did you just refer to England as a team with "potential to go far"?

Seriously?

And if they have the potential to go far why does it matter who they play in the group?

So FIFA have fixed the draw in favour of who? France, but that's only because the Swiss were seeded when they shouldn't really be. There's always tough groups and easier ones. England had an easy draw last time and still made a meal of it.

Plus England are st, I don't think you need to fix the draw to get them to fail.

I didn't watch the draw but in the OP's link a response says that Sir Geoff Hurst was only a few feet away.

This is a huge own goal by England and the FA. The FA was warned about playing friendly matches, and the problem that would cause to their seeding in the tournament. The same problem for Netherlands and Italy.

Below is the reason why, FIFA is as dodgy as a 3 pound note, but this is the stupidity of the FA is all its glory.

Err nope, England have a standing in FIFA as a team they are just very happy to fk over. Considering the English are about the only voice to really stand up to Blatter and his cronies, they were always going to have a special place in the draw.

I'd go further, and also say England will be knocked out by a controversial decision come the summer.

You don't mess with FIFA, fact.

I'm not saying the IOC aren't a corrupt bunch of freeloaders deciding where to have their next party but to my recollection the vote for London was not so much due to any bribery but simply an anti-France movement.

Although I don't believe this, I do firmly believe that if we saw the crowd trouble here in the run up to hosting the world cup that Brazil saw in the last week, FIFA wouldn't simply ignore it.
  • Of coarse we'd have to be awarded it in the first place which simply will not happen under the current corrupt regime.

Err yes you did smile

As much as I love a good old conspiracy, I very much doubt FIFA would rig a live TV draw using what is essential slight of hand.

They rigged it when they didn't put France in the other Pot.
As for England, yeah they cant win it, but I still reckon we can beat anyone on our day.

I watched it and no it doesn't look rigged, Geoff Hurst is stood next to him so he'd have to be in on it. It just looks exactly how am old bloke would do things.
