From a QPR fan i feel for you guys.

Always a shame that there has to be a loser, credit to Derby they worked their socks off, you just didn't get the rub of the green.

Football's a funny old game.
Seconded by a West Ham fan.

Balls weeping

Something to be said for having a good season in the Championship and winning games and getting some good coverage versus a season of struggle in the prem with virtually no coverage.

Yeah. That and the 130m you'll miss out on (although I'm sure that figure increased exponentially throughout the day)

The money is only one side to it though for me, you'd have to spend a sizable chunk of that just to keep your head above water.

As a Derbyshire resident with a semi-vested interest, I can say I'm very disappointed with todays result.

Impressive possession but no real cutting edge to their work seems to have sealed their fate.

That, and a kamikaze bit of defending from three of their otherwise dependable players, seems to have sealed their fate.

Not good enough on this occasion I'm afraid.

Not sure QPR are good enough either, but just enough on the day.

Think this sums it up perfectly, gutted but already looking forward to next season.

Great to see a DCFC thread here on the first page of the PH Football forum, let's keep it up here for next season, even if it means putting up with some noise from a few envious Forest fans laugh

I seem to have sealed my fate with the over use of the term "seem to have sealed their fate".

Maybe I should take a job in professional football punditry, at the end of the day. Obviously.

Was at the game, what an experience! As a Derby fan I enjoyed most of the day, but how we lost was just how football goes sometimes. Gutted.

Forest fans were vocal all of a sudden on social Media after the game. At least we get to beat them twice next season!

Agreed. You do have to wonder a bit about those who seem more interested in the the results performances of others rather than worrying about their own teams performance. laugh

Oh come on, after the st you've given us this season? Or every time you beat us, especially the ten men incident. That's the kind of thing that can come back and bite you in the arse.... oh, wait.

I know some have gone to extremes which I wouldn't do personally. But then we've had Leicester fans driving all the way to Nottingham to have their picture taken outside of the ground after they won the league. Now that's sad.

And I don't think anyone's gone as hiring a plane to fly a banner over our ground. Something about "ten men" if I remember rightly. Derby fans have done been really going for it, so it's only right that Forest fans have a go back. I'm sure you won't be reticent if you beat us again. I wouldn't expect you to be.

Just goes to show, don't overdo the celebrations (or take the piss out of Forest) before you've won anything.

Nothing personal however I've no real interest or concern over how some Forest fans wish to celebrate Derby's failure to win the play-off final.

As this is a Derby forum I am much more interested in hearing from other supporters who they think we can hang onto for next season and what players should be brought in to strengthen the squad.

Craig Bryson is the latest of the squad that has signed a new contract, 5 years.
Really pleased about that as he's been an important cog in the wheel the past couple of seasons, was really worried he'd be off to QPR or Burnley.

14th of November and this thread has its first post of the season.
I can see now why you're on TV so much, it's down to your popularity isn't it? smile

Is one of those 6 games a cup game, I count 5 league games
