As I can't find one, I thought I'd make one (I'm probably the only Rams fan here) haha.

Anyway, we're 2nd in the table. Something we did NOT expect to be seeing when we started this season, that goes for all fans as we had Mr Clough in charge.

What a difference McClaren has made.

I think we'll finish 2nd, play offs is a cert though, QPR and Burnley just can't seem to keep up their early season results. So the title is there for Leicester's taking, in my eyes.

Hope we keep up this fantastic run, it'll be nice to be back in the top flight.

It will be, the money from renaming the stadium recently (though I still, and will call it Pride Park) should help, hopefully get someone who can help us score 3+ goals a game consistently, I can't see much more of the team that really needs tweaking, 2nd in the table after a few years of nothing shows something good is happening with what we've already got. Just need to keep it up, a point against Leicester and to beat Wigan and I'll be happy with the start to January (even if we lose to Chelsea).

Another Rams fan here. Haven't had a season ticket since 2002 but was a regular for 20 odd years previously. Still go a couple of times a season.

I hope they get through on an automatic, play-offs are a killer even if you win as there is no one left to sign to strengthen the squad. Good as they are at the moment I suspect they would need a few changes if they went up. Be difficult to keep hold of Hughes, and I don't think Martin will cut it against better defences. For all his good touches, link play and goals he's too slow to survive in the prem IMO.

But certainly great support, management working and good owners. Chelsea will be a good test, I hope TSO puts out a decent team.

Forest Fan here. (not here to stir)

Great to see Schteve back in business, I think we all know he is a very good coach and manager, just needs the right set up around him. Derby clearly suits him.

Best of luck for the rest of the season, Between Leceister, Derby and Forest, the east midlands must get one team into the Prem next year ?

Went to the game tonight, absolutely fantastic match, worth every penny of the ticket price, and id've happily paid double to see it. At 2-0 down, I honestly couldn't see us winning, though we outplayed Yeovil a lot of the time, they put up a great fight. They were unlucky to lose to our last gasp goal, but based on our overall (and definetly second half performance), we wouldn't have deserved to draw or lose. That's football for you. Fantastic atmosphere, brilliant game, great fightback by the Rams, we just need to get back to winning (or at least unbeaten) ways. Away to Brum on Saturday, hopefully get all 3 points there (but Brum aren't an easy opponent by any means).

I was about to start a Derby thread when I did a quick search and realised you beaten me to it!

Guess the response has been a little under-whelming so far particularly as the Forest thread by comparison is now running at 297 pages.yikes

There must be a few Derby fans on here to help turn things around biggrin

So what did we think of last night's performance?

Poor, in my eyes. We didn't deserve that win, but we'll take it, as its an important one.

Brighton were tough last night, and I'm expecting them to be even tougher Sunday.

But looking forward to an attacking match, Brighton will chuck everything at us, and hopefully we'll get them on the counter attack, much like yesterday.

Just been and got my ticket for the game, had to watch last nights in the pub.

4-2 on Sunday to the Rams, so 6-3 aggregate. Then it's off to Wembley!!!!

Good to see Chris Martin banging in the goals for you. 24 goals from a free transfer signing is awesome business. There could be irony in that he ends up playing in the PL next season as we (Norwich), who had discarded him as not good enough, are headed in the opposite direction. He was very good for us in L1 and Championship, many viewed him as a true 'natural finisher'. He then lost his way somewhat (allegedly getting banned from local pubs etc.) and got moved on on 'not good enough for the higher level' or 'too tricky to deal with'.

I'm really pleased it's worked out for him. Had we just had a handful of his 24 this season (or from James Vaughan at Huddersfield, another one we released) we'd never had been in the sorry predicament we find ourselves in.

Good luck tomorrow and for the final (all being well).

Great performance today.

They have nothing to fear.

Play like that at Wembley and we have a more than evens chance of promotion.

You will walk the final if you play how you have been playing.

The play offs are a nonsense anyway in my opinion, should just be the top 3 are promoted. (As you have clearly been the 3rd best team this season)

Good luck next season, good to see two east mids teams going up, just a shame we couldn't join you!

So the suns shining (well it was 10 mins ago smile )breakfast has been had and preparations are being made to go round my mates to watch it on the "big screen". Not one of the 39,000 going down (I hear there's a sign on the A38 that says "Derby - gone out for the day back after tea") but roaring them on.

You Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaams

From a QPR fan i feel for you guys.

Always a shame that there has to be a loser, credit to Derby they worked their socks off, you just didn't get the rub of the green.

Football's a funny old game.
