Reports from quite a few major outlets saying that he's gone!

oooooooh, I'm so excited, I'll keep refreshing until the good news comes, today won't be soon enough for me.

I've been saying bin Moyes and give Giggsy the caretaker job for ages, now it might happen.

I think the players have been voting with their feet all season, now it looks like their votes have been counted and a decision will be made soon.

I wasn't going to drink today but having seen nearly all the major outlets saying the same thing (assume they've been briefed) I've just cracked open a beer

Assume Giggs for the last few then Klopp or Van Gaal

If we get Van Gaal then surely spuds will be stting themselves they get Moyes

No way should Giggs ever get the top job other than as a stand in to the end of the season.

Klopp is the man for the job.

I wouldn't say we were all happy but willing to give him a go. I've backed him for a while but as time goes on it's becoming clearer he's so far out if his depth and the fact Everyon look like a different team tells me everything...

Why is he going to want to leave Dortmund? especially for a team in turmoil.

The Barca job is going to be available at the end of the season..

Oh wind your neck in FFS

Only a bit of fun, Jeez you a happy soul rolleyes
It's a bit dull though as the idea of sacking a manager before the end of their contract is hardly revolutionary. We've sacked every manager we've ever had, bar two.

Why not? There's as much potential at United. In fact it might be the safer option as Barca are still a top team (unlike us) and expected to win everything. He'll get time at United as long as the passion and style is there which was the key piece missing with Moyes.

Moyes should do the honourable thing and discuss severance terms for a mutually acceptable departure, save everyone some pain.

That yesterday was the day you were mathematically unable to achieve 4th place suggests there's a performance target in his contract, so he might have to do one with no/limited severance.

That would be a godsend, getting rid of him without coughing up millions!
