No. Somebody misled you mate. United have won more trophies in total.
When did they overtake Liverpool? I know Utd have won lots of Charity Sheilds, maybe that's the difference.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_football_club...

Statistics lol
So if LvG comes in and RvP Is a fellow clogger, then whether does Rooney fit in? With Moyes gone, there'll be no favourites RvP aside surely? The way Rooney has played recently, albeit slightly injured suggests he may not even get in the side, whereas under DM he wsn't even ever substituted ... maybe Moyes should have got rid as Fergie wanted, may not have helped foster relationships in the dressing room, one bloke getting preferential treatment etc

OK, an odd method of counting, but here goes:No trophies from ‘one-off’ matches such as the Charity Shield or European Super Cup are included, nor are competitions that were ‘one-off’ matches at any point, such as the old Intercontinental Cup, which mutated into the Club World Cup.
United have won 20 league titles (a record), 11 FA Cups (a record), four League Cups, three European Cups and a European Cup-Winners’ Cup.
Liverpool have won 18 league titles, seven FA Cups, eight League Cups (a record), five European Cups (a record for an English team) and three Uefa Cups.
League titles - MUFC 1-0 LFC
FA Cups - MUFC 1-0 LFC (2-0 on aggregate)
League Cups - MUFC 0-1 LFC (2-1 on aggregate)
European Cups - MUFC 0-1 (2-2 on aggregate)
ECWC - MUFC 1-0 LFC (3-2 on aggregate)
UEFA MUFC 0-1 LFC (3-3 on aggregate)
Looking good for Liverpool
They were a great team in the 80s and 90s that I enjoyed watching
Good to see that flair returning
Oh bugger, they have lost out on the away goal:
Have they ever played in this?
Joking! All as I am asking is that we return to playing with flair and style, even if we don't win everything!

To those thinking Utd can bounce right back with a new manager please look at the team sheet from last night.
UNITED
01 De Gea
04 Jones
12 Smalling
06 Evans
28 Büttner
24 Fletcher
16 Carrick
17 Nani
08 Mata
26 Kagawa
10 Rooney
It's been over 20 years since I've seen a Utd team that I looked at and thought, meh. You're in big, big trouble, the kind that's only sorted with +£200,000,000, a top class manager, and a couple of years of time. Will the Glazers have the balls to splash the cash, and allow the new spout some time. I doubt it.
It's going to be an interesting few years at The Theatre of Nightmares.
We're not in big big trouble at all. Fergie chose the wrong successor and he won't be allowed to make that mistake twice. UNITED

I feel we will bounce straight back as Moyes will no longer have that £200 million to waste. Of course the Glazers will splash the cash. Hence being attractive to a new manager, whatever club they are at.

Then you have the Arsenal,
City and Chelsea still miles behind the top 3.

Comfortably. Have you seen stories about he debt recently? No as it has been significantly reduced but no one wants to write about that. A new kit deal that will set new records....and worse case scenario in some eyes a stadium rights auction.Plenty of money at United. Even the worst anti Glazer bloggers are beginning to admit that the debt could be completely gone by 2015......

Utd need Pep and if they can't get him they might as well give DM till Christmas.I feel we will bounce straight back as Moyes will no longer have that £200 million to waste. Of course the Glazers will splash the cash. Hence being attractive to a new manager, whatever club they are at.

Right about Pep Wolfy but I hope your wrong about DM! I just don't see the signs he's the right man.
The players need to take some responsibility, they have let the club down, unless Utd can replace DM with a real class manager they might as well give him the summer to get rid of the old guard and bring in some fresh young talent, if no big improvement by Christmas he would have to go.WolfyJones said:

I fully agree with you wolfy, but I simply can't see that the board would sanction that. There's simply too much (£) to lose to go with such a big risk strategy Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
