Maureen is a grade A and plays st football - I couldn't give a toss about his record. Wouldn't want him anywhere near Liverpool.
Not a fan then? Another big tick! wink

I feel your pain!...
Got 3 home games with Giggsy, Scholes and Butt in charge which I'm sure will have Old Trafford jumping as consolation!

Roll on Saturday!

If I was Martinez's agent I'd be excited. Fabulous time for him to complete part two of a brilliant double jump. If anyone can restore 'the United way' to OT it's him. Great track record, great with the press, and a cheaper option for the Glazers to boot.
I just don't buy into the idea that a 'mega manager' is the answer there right now. You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Any manager can spend lots of money, but not every manager can make players play.
Coleman, Baines, Barkley, Mirallis, Delawotsit might all follow! There, I've spent the £100m already ...

With Fellaini making the opposite trip again!

Coleman yes,
Baines no too expensive for his age rather get Shaw if possible
Barkley no, not strong enough to play alone behind Mata or Kagawa and probably too expensive
Mirallis no, remember Michu 2 years ago and where he is now?
Delafeoueieou no, can't say it let alone spell it plus he's only on loan isn't he?

1. He is hilarious, and a genius. He does it to wind people up, but ultimately he defends his players and his team. He does though, occasionally, overstep the mark.
Nope, not buying it - he is a "personality" that makes EPL interesting, but fundamenatlly he is an arrogant prick IMO who occasionally provides much amusement to others

Leaving before final whistle at thrashing of Arsenal - classless and arrogant
Not shaking an opponent managers hands (Monk) after just beating them - ditto
Conspiracy theories that referees / Riley against him - sulky tt
Encouraging players to get yellows to get bans for an easier tie - cheat

I don't deny that he is a very good manager, especially galvanising players. It is the person I don't like. Makes no odds to me personally, if he went to Man U it would stengthen them as much as it would weaken Chelsea.

It's a dream fix when you think about it.
This search for a mega management name is crazy kneejerk stuff.

I doubt Man Utd appeals to Martinez at the moment, especially after the way Moyes was treated by the fans etc. When he was with us he turned down Villa (who were in a better position than us at the time) and also couldn't come to an agreement with Liverpool. I think he's happy with European football next season (possibly even Champions League). I'd say it's been easier to improve on what Everton have already got rather than fix and rebuild a team/club like Man Utd.

Isn't RdeM reputed to be getting £130,000 a week still from Chelsea?

And have to laugh at Moyes hanging around to eek the last £ out of Utd with his settlement ... Just get your few million and get out!

If his contract had been watertight what was there to argue over, his image rights? hehe

Typical Jock!

Yep, the LMA acting like a typical union! Not sure how it was unprofessional - I mean the guy had about 10 months notice which was confirmed in writing about 1 month ago. They even sent it air mail:

Valencia for 75% of the season was the best United player on the pitch.

Rumour Control (Irish Branch) reports that Van Gaal would want Keano as his No. 2.
I don't care if this is utter tosh, just the thought of it makes me over-stimulated!
If the players were worried that Van Gaal might be a hard case then imagine their reaction to his idea of a nice guy....

Some guy on Talksport said he wanted Gary Neville as manager with Fergie as his mentor for one season only. I think he was slightly mental.

I think with any manager you need a good set of coaches behind the scene, which Moyes missed.

Am I right in thinking that Moyes got rid of the whole of United's backroom staff when he took over?
