Not sure yet but he blanked a journo from the mirror on question 4.

Going to take 3-4 weeks to assess the squad.

No huge revelations, jobs for all the class of 92 if they want it.

Nothing on transfers

No decision on captain, everyone is a candidate.

Carrick injured.

Youth no barrier to playing in the first team.

Looked confident and composed as opposed to shell shocked like Moyes!!

A little part of me is hoping he goes all Jo Kinnear - "which one of you is...", "you're a #@£!". I really really want him to do well, but it would be hilarious if he went off his nut in the first press conference.

So true.

The comment about being 7th last season and his challenge is to finish 1st not in the top 4th when asked about the top 4... he's from another planet to Dave.

Who's going to pass sideways in his place?

Harsh. He was exceptional for the two seasons before last.

None of them should be judged on last season.

Excuse me? Did you just say something sensible?

Take a seat, you must be worn out.

So if Vidal is THAT good, why aren't I reading about a flurry of big Champions League-qualified clubs forming a queue at the doors of Juventus? Or has this story a long way to go yet?

Bad news (good, some might say) about Carrick.

News this morning of the Dippers looking at him (and Pogba!)

(Somebody will tell them Andy Carrol's available for the right money soon & they'll buy him instead with any luck! hehe)

Bless you. Adopting an adult attitude at such a young age. You've spent too much time on the Spurs thread. smile

They wouldn't do it publicly would they? Plus most teams who could afford him are fine in the part of the pitch. Unless City get rid of Touré I can't see them being after him, Madrid are apparently interested but I haven't seen much of that plus they don't really need him, but it's Madrid so that doesn't stop them. He's already said if he moved it'd only be to England or Spain so that rules PSG, Bayern or another Italian club.

Everyone and their dog knows Man Utd have a weak midfield, it's only normal we'll be heavily linked to them this window.

Plus I didn't see a flurry of clubs chasing Thiago last season, Fabregas, Kroos or Sanchez. Only rumours of a couple of clubs interested in each.

Tour 2014 squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Johnstone, Rafael, Evans, Smalling, Jones, Shaw, Blackett, M Keane, James, Herrera, Cleverley, Fletcher, Young, Zaha, Kagawa, Mata, Valencia, Nani, Lingard, Welbeck, Rooney, W Keane.

No Powell, Wilson or Lawrence. Are Powells days numbered?

Also no Bebe or Anderson which is good news and those that featured in the knock out stages of the world Cup are on extended breaks.

I'm surprised that Wilson hasn't gone as there is a lot of talk about how good he is. There must be a reason. I noticed Hernandez has not gone either, World cup break or is he off?

Bebe has been sold hasn't he?

Anderson is out with a calf injury, rumours that he was trying to eat it are unproven
