I thought Rickie Lambert being a star man was better than any winky face.

Last summer we had a buffoon saying we were after him in public. That hasn't happened this time, there is nothing but gossip to suggest we're after Vidal but it's such a Ricky Lambert of a transfer that we're excited about it.

Not sure it's comparable to Fabregas though, if Vidal stays at Juventus it won't be embarrassing to us like Fabregas was because we aren't publicly courting him so nobody knows if we actually are (unless Vidal says United are crap and he would never join us after we begged him)... biggrin
Seriously? You're not publicly in for him? I'm not sure how much more public you could get bar an open letter to the fans from Woodward on official United headed paper.

Most of the reports are coming from Italy and Chile. Can we really do anything about them reporting on us?

King Louis isn't in press conferences saying we've bid for him or we want him. There's no public word from the club like there was with Cesc.

As we're discussing sexual self gratification practices, I raise you Maradonna rather than Madonna - I can imagine a lot of young boys (and men) cracking one off to images of that fat, stubby Argentinian lump of lard.

Anyway, the season starts soon; hope the team brings us good cheer from the start. 6 'winnable' games according to t'experts.

No WTF dude, no Siree.
These are our 1st 6 fixtures:

Utd vs Swansea
Sunderland vs Utd
Burnley vs Utd
Utd vs QPR
Leicester vs Utd
Utd vs West Ham

Would not argue with anyone making a case that these are all eminently winnable games.

Not arsed about that bit.
The tossing off to fat male football players was very odd though.

What do we think about the continuing Vermerlan rumours?

Worth it or are we just hoovering up our competitors rejects?

Fit and on form he's a very good defender, it's keeping him fit. Personally I'd take the gamble purely as I think Arsenal are awful at dealing with injuries

I was going to put that about Arsenal. You just can't be that unlucky with players, it has to be something they are doing.
Look at RVP under Fergie, he was fine until Moyes broke him.

And they are privileged to be on the same pitch as us.

They are facing England's most famous, most decorated and sexiest club.

The Madrid players should be jolly grateful to their Marketing Department for granting them this opportunity.

Ps is Bale playing? I like him.

Indeed they are sir, at least the United players can lock up their passports for a good few months.
