10900 for a pre-season friendly.

Darlington vs Carlisle this isn't.

I would have expected Real Madrid to draw a bigger crowd to be honest!

A sublime team goal finished off by Young.

A real thing of beauty.

Ashley Young looks to be completely revitalised.

He is staking a claim to start matches this season.

Missed out a zero there

The manager has complained about this pre-season but it is certainly raising Man Utd's profile in the states

Monday should be interesting, a supposed 'friendly' but against Liverhampton, could have some bite

Read over the weekend that Ronaldo has not ruled out a return to Old Trafford.

Would be pretty amazing but I can't see it happening. I just don't think he would want to live in manchester again.

TRUE FACT

Tottenham have won the FA cup more than any other team whilst the last digit of the year is 1.

i.e. 1901 etc.

I know it was only a friendly but to be honest I didn't think Real played like just crowned European Champions.
United were far better in almost every area, Bale was the only player that seemed to be interested.

Lets hope they carry that form over to the start of the season and beat Liverpool tonight.

To be fair in the interview he was being asked by Paddy Crerrand on behalf of united. He knows Paddy very well and it was more out of politeness & courtesy (and affection) than anything else. Ronnie is just a top bloke and very affectionate towards Manchester & united. He clearly loves united (grew up there, lost his father & had couple father figures, adored by united & fans)

I do think he may well comeback to OT one day but it will probably be when he is closer to retiring about 35!

He's just a great big tease is Cristiano! He's not going to stand with Crerend and say I'm at Madrid for life, he's going to tell us what we want to hear to maintain his place in our affections. And long may he continue to do so. It was great watching United and Ronaldo develop into the best in Europe for a couple of seasons.

Another late night ahead tonight as we go up against the Scousers. They've no Sturridge but I'm sure it will be better test than we've had so far and having been beaten by them in league last year it will be interesting to see how The Dutch Masters new methods fair against a premier league rival.

Really looking forward to this one.

As much as I want to, I can't stay up until 3am even if it's the summer holidays.
