If you get rid of the windows then this relentless speculation st storm would never end.

I doubt it would lower transfer fees either. Just lost a key midfielder to a cruciate injury? The price of the guy you want to replace him with goes through the roof.
True, but the transfer deadline is always there, a midfielders cruciate injury is only a possibility, and the speculation ststorm would calm down in the end.
It's pointless discussing it though, the windows are here to stay.

Daniel Taylor of The Guardian saying we'll let Danny Welbeck leave. But not to a top 6 club... a top 6 club won't want him/we're not a top 6 club, etc #topspursbantz

Would be a shame to let him go because he's been with us for ages. He's a local lad, but if he wants playing time as a striker I can understand him wanting to leave. In all honesty as a player I wouldn't be too sad to see him go.

Regardless what those Southerners think, some people up North do have jobs. Or did: http://www.theladbible.com/articles/lad-quits-job-... (NSFW - naughty language)

Really like Danny Welbeck but he just doesn't hit the back of the net often enough and although he's a local lad sentiment will not get us back to the top of the league. Neither Welbeck or Chic deliver enough when called upon. Time for a change.

The difficulty with all leading clubs (maybe unless they're paying obscene wages) is trying to get two world class strikers who'll be first choice and then two *nearly* world class strikers who'll be happy as being cover and maybe starting in cup games.

ALL players want to play - but the compensation on offer now by way of wages is something else.

If you have players such as Welbeck and Hernandez who aren't happy not getting game time then you'll struggle to get *better* players there who'll be happy not starting (unless maybe they're yoof players coming through - (Wilson, Powell maybe etc)

Not just you though, most clubs (see wgaes comment above)

The only time it worked was with Cole, Yorke, Sheringham and Solksjaer. And that was probably down to Ole's willingness to be substitute without any complaining. What a front line that was! Capable of winning everything and very nearly did.

You have to laugh or else you'd cry.

Our squad is absolutely ste with a few exceptions and I think it's astonishing it's got this bad tbh.

Van Persie is back in the squad. And Fellaini is out so it's not all bad.

Will be a great signing, what sort of formation do you guys think you'll play and where will he fit in?
