Will be a great signing, what sort of formation do you guys think you'll play and where will he fit in?
He'll fit easily into
Andersons shirt, actually you'd fit 2 of him in

Would love to see Di Maria play in the premier league, but not in a bloody red shirt .

He'll be an asset to any team . Good work if you can get him.

There's some very big numbers being thrown around when we could still do with a CB and a DM.

You could just pluck some numbers out of the air to make the deal sound better you know.

A lot of folk do that on these football pages. wink

Di Maria to wear the 7 shirt at Old Trafford this season. Deal to be finalised over the next few days.
Well, let's hope so. If we can secure this plus a.n.other big signature before we lose any more points in the league then we stand a good chance of being in the mix at the end.

The BBC are reporting that United have made a 56 million pound offer for Di Maria (please can united get him!!) and are also reporting that they've made an offer for vidal (and him too!!) with money and an unnamed player going to Juventus. Though admittedly it is in their gossip column.

Di Maria is a very good player and a huge improvement on Nani. Even if you buy Vidal and a centre back, the problem for you remains the same, Rooney just ruins the shape of any team when he chases the ball everywhere.

All the signs are there that we're really in for di Maria. Absolutely fantastic signing if we get him, even if his position isn't a major priority. He's a genuine world class player and one that'd make a huge difference. Jizztastic!

It's been reported that it is £56 million sterling and about €70 million euro so still a British record. He's worth it with what he will bring to us smile

Is he though? (serious question), would Fabregas not have been a better option?

I would have thought your defence needs attention first.

Unless they have started chanting the Newcastle mantra 'You score four, we'll score five'. Dangerous.
