Can all the United fans refrain from using the term "Man U" so I can differentiate the ABUs and WUMs please? MUFC, Man Utd, Utd or United will be just fine.
Agree, I've always been baffled why anyone who supports United would refer to us as anything other than United.

If Fellani is £28million then Matas a snip at £35m surely?

That's got to call time on Kagawas time with us though?

Yes and yes. Him and Nani might just about cover the cost of Mata & tbh I don't really think we will miss either that much.

I've heard that once the Mata deal completed then Kagawa is gone for Gundogan.

How right it is I have no idea but sounds plausible?

Rooney going back to Goodison has been discussed by the Everton board. I think that's more likely than the wild speculation written else where. He can run down the last 18 months of his contract and go on a free, I think he'll be 30 by then and I'd imagine that move would suit all.

I'd rather he stayed but he isn't a United fan, and I can see him ending his career at Everton. He has told Everton he'd take a pay cut.

If you knew anything about Everton you would know they dont have any money, never mind funding Rooney even if he took a paycut on his 300k a week...

It's come straight from one of their Directors.

That ought to be enough to deal with Blunderland at OT - seriously! (Intersting that he's stuck DDG in goal though)

Wasn't the same said about Scholes seeing out the last year or so of his career at Oldham? That never happened.

He's 28 now, will be almost 30 when his contracts done, not sure he is going to age that well.....as I said I'd rather he stayed but I'd he is to go I can see it happening.

I heard from a Geordie friend that Cabaye had signed pre contract terms with PSG.
Watched the Coppa Italia last night and Vidal seems to be doing a good job of putting himself in the shop window.
I'd heard similar about Cabaye. Vidal is my absolute dream signing seems to do everything well.

With regard to Mata he isn't the obvious choice certainly but I do think he is better than Ozil and can have a similar effect for us, I don't know if it means the end for Kagawa as he can easily play wider leaving the 10 role for Shinji. Saying that we are interested in Gundogan and Reus so he may be used as a makeweight.

I'm actually just relieved that the Glazers seem to have disc their chequebook and Woodward has worked out how to use a phone, bodes well for the summer

Onto tonight I was quite apathetic but winnings a habit we need to get back into

Great to see Fletch as captain - sign for the future?
