Other players you don't need that you can try and shoehorn into a formation that you can't play?

The fans should as well. Let's say utd have 80M to spend. £65M on Di Maria, leaves £15M for someone else. If you got Di Maria for 40M, that leaves £40M for others.

Oh, and Real Madrid, of course.
Not sure any shareholders are on here, and as I've said before there are people far more qualified than us who make the money decisions at United. I will leave it up to them because they know our targets and how much we're able to pay for different transfers.

Couldn't care less to be honest.

Surely Utd should tell them where to go . They probably owe Spurs more than £75M.

The problem with Di Maria is that he is LVG's number one target and I'm sure Woody knows it's over the odds. Unfortunately we are not in a great negotiating position right now.

You asked who cares, I gave a valid answer.

That's the problem though, there aren't any others, you don't seem to be finding the young lads with potential either!

Reported on tv that real have now told United they want 75m pounds for Di Mari, not Euros... yikes that's expensive.
He's having a medical and said goodbye, suggests a deal has been done, could be posturing by madrid

At that price, tempting to tell RM that we will have CR instead.

Simple business this. Sellers market, particularly where we're concerned when we're the ones buying whilst we're currently st.

We've no choice, we have to strengthen and we'll have to pay what we have to.

Simple.

ABU's can say what they want, it doesn't change a market place or market forces.

If we can afford, we'll pay.

I don't really care as long as we can assemble a team worthy of going for trophies again. As when that happens, we will reap the benefits once more of holding better cards than we currently do.

Not too difficult to understand, really.

Overpaid for him but I think the transfer fees in general over the last few years do not reflect true market value at all.
