Press appear to be reporting terms are agreed with Vidal now?
Surely it's more important to agree with Juventus initially?

I think a lot of the focus has been taken away by Vidal saga. The Di Maria transfer has been known for a while in the press, but I would presume Real kept it quiet for a lot of the time while they did their business. Yes it's a record amount but it has been known in the press.

The Indy is suggesting Kagawa as make-weight for Vidal.
After last night, that might be 2% of the fee then...

Best ManU story I've heard today was on Radio5Live.

Apparently a twenty year old female ManU supporter fancied her team to win 4-0 last night. Had a bet on 4-0. However, she bet 4-0 for the MKD win .... by mistake... biggrin Easily done if in a hurry using the small screen on a phone.

Didn't know until she checked her betting account later. Odds or 500-1 so won over a thousand quid.

Brilliant stuff. Love it! Really did me good to hear that news story today.

The Express.
Is there a hierarchy for believability?

Club?
BBC?
Telegraph?
Mail?
Express?
Star?
Twitter?
Websites?

I try not to get excited until it's on the BBC website. But I can be roped in by The Guardian and Telegraph. The Mail, Express, Mirror etc can be used for soaking up your pet's piss.

You used to be. Now you are mid table mediocrity a large proportion of the foreign supporters will desert you. They are fickle with no local loyalties.

£75mn a year. Might cover half a year's wage bill. Big deal.

Got to be worth at least one of their Champions League trophies?

So despite recently getting a record breaking kit deal after a disastrous season, we are no longer a money making machine.

Totes amazeballs.

I'd agree the team and results need to be fixed for it to stay that way though. But it's a bit early for your post...

Stepping to one side on the transfer news, I had my own, less pleasing news today.
I've always been happy in the knowledge that my wife's cousin, Ronny Cope, was one of the Busby Babes.
My cousin called round yesterday having completed and published our family tree on my mums side.
Imagine my dismay to hear than one of my relatives, Dave Halliday, played for Sunderland, Arsenal AND Manchester City !!!!
He does have one thing in common with SAF in that he is the only other manager to guide Aberdeen to be Scottish champions.
The only other black sheep was a certain serial killer called John Reginald Halliday Christie redface

Just goes to show you can't choose your relatives smile

The team and results will only be fixed by changes to the squad. You have lost your back 4 and have an average midfield. The 2 up front are class, but paying way over the odds for a winger who was desperate to leave RM does;t fix that and i struggle to see who you will sign to change things. Hopefully a successful £20mn bid for Joe Allen will be seen as an improvement.

Oh, this again. It's been just over 24 hours since we signed di Maria and it's already worn thin.

Is it a trophy or shield that they give out for such football achievements?
