Back on track to a comment earlier. Non Man U fans can keep coming on here having a pop at our team and squad, but IMHO the EPL is hardly overrun with "world class players". Some teams have a few more than us but most squads beyond the normal top 4 have none.

That is very true, but one swallow does not make a summer. How many World Class players does the German team have ?

I would say that the last German team to play a competitive match had a high proportion of world class players. Unless you want to measure it some other way?

After the World Cup, probably Neuer, Hummels and maybe Muller or Schweinsteiger. They all performed better than CR7 and he is apparently world class! I wouldn't have named many if any EPL in the world 11 at that point although RVP was pretty good early on.

A lot of finger pointing at United but Liverpool sold their only World Class player. A lot of average in your squad as well. It seems Liverpool had their decline and never really got it back.

We had a shocker last year, Fergie had papered over the cracks for years and it eventually feel apart last year. LVG is the man to take us forward and yes we have not played well for the first 3 games but I'm not fussed.

I'm thinking longer term rather than instant success.

We said the same in 1992. We came 2nd last year and have a better squad this season. You want the bet as well ?
