He may not have had his hands in his pockets, but his purchases were like someone growing tired of Champ Manager. Zaha, 15M? Young 17M? Kagawa 12M? Looks like when a kid has his Xmas money burning a hole in his pocket so goes out and buys ten yoyos and a bag of elastic bands.

If you want to look at all the other purchases as opposed to the level of spend, this site will help.

You will retort though; as a Spud your attitude is that any spend is a good spend.
And in those 3 years he won the league twice and lost the other one on the last kick of the season to goal difference...I could only dream of that level of failure for Spurs.

Same with Plymouth. It's what his 'activity' led to that caused the issue.

Well, when 11 of those players were playing for recently promoted championship side Burnley.. you'd hope so for £60million.

Kagawa back to Dortmund, Hernandez on a plane to talk to Real by all accounts.

Cleverley rumoured to be talking to Villa, Wellbeck linked with a loan move to Spuds (although hoping if Chic goes Danny stays)

Incoming wise nothing concrete, Blind is all but done, we are rumoured to be looking at W Carvalho again and some chat about Schneiderlin

Is a shame about Kagawa, always thought he was quality (would have thrived in a stable team with a proper DM next to him. Mata is just little better though)

Hope Hernandez not going.

Happily give a lift to Cleverley, Young & Anderson however

I can't help but feel we'll all be a bit disappointed by the end of tomorrow.

Lots of talk but no movement and we need as much as we do out.

Will gigs leed the revolt again this year and therefore play a major part in the manager leaving again?

Couldnt understand how hes no 2 after not particularly helping the manager last year.

What, you mean how at 40 years of age rather than hanging his boots up when the season started to go bad, he carried on playing and trying to help the team? Not sure how people who don't know can assume that he led a revolt or didn't help DM. Not even DM could help DM!!

No real clue why...the problem is at the other end of the pitch!
