Mental numbers. He defiantly on that much a week? Interesting to understand why Monaco let him go? FFP?
He's been unhappy playing in front of crowds of 10000 I read a while back, pushing for a move for a while.

Can't understand why Utd would let Welbeck go to Arsenal...unless they pull the deal at the last minute for the stitch up.

Falcao's goals are 10 right foot 9 left. Good to see an equally skilled two footed player. smile

Interesting transfer window this has been! And to think a week ago we were in demise, be ten years to recover and our chances of attracting world class talent were over.

Chich and Welbeck out and Di Maria and Falcao in. Enhanced the options up front somewhat.

A starting line up assuming full fitness could be.....

De Gea
Rafael Jones Rojo Shaw
Herrera Blind Di Maria
Rooney
Falcao Van Persie

Bench would/could include Carrick, Mata, Smalling, Janujaz.....All of a sudden the squad is looking pretty strong again.

God help everyone else if Ed Woodward masters transfer dealings!

As someone tweeted: 'Buying Di Maria and Falcao is like going into hospital needing heart surgery and getting a boob job'.

So seeing as it's fairly likely that's it for us...

In:
Falcao
Blind
Di Maria
Rojo
Herrera
Shaw

Out:
Chico(L)
Nani(L)
Rio
Vidic
Buttner
Evra

Stuck with:
Cleverly
Anderson
Fellani

Who did I miss?

Kagawa has gone as well. Apparently United have told Cleverley and Welbeck they can go, it's up to them to decide if they want to stay or sign elsewhere.

Staggering figures , but i suppose they can afford it.

How long before Wayne starts stamping his feet again ?
I can't 100% be sure but that's been debunked on the Caf. If you take what he was on at Monaco (net) and calculate British Tax and exchange rate you come out at exactly that figure, bit of a coincidence. I suspect it's lazy journalism more than anything but we'll see later I'm sure.

I'd still like to see someone in instead of jones, don't rate him at all personally. Can't you stick blind there instead and bring on mata?

I'm expecting the Falcao deal to fall through.

He'll be OK with the wages. He'll pass the medical. It's driving a POS Chevrolet he won't be happy about.

Falcao isn't silly, nowhere else apart from Monaco could he earn what he did, he also realises that it's st playing in front of half empty stadiums. I'd expect 200ish to be much closer as you say

I'd be very happy with it personally smile

I do like fans (of any club, including us on here) discussing player's wages as though we have a clue. The fact is we have no idea, so finding £350,000 a week for Falcao outrageous is a bit silly IMO. He might be on that, he might not be. Unless we see his contract we're talking about something we don't know.

Ah yes, Kagawa, knew there was someone else.

Sounds like our bench is going to be toasty warm this season!
