So attack is the best form of defence. Reminds me of the 2012-2013 where United were woeful at defending and RVP pretty much won the club the premiership by just outscoring the opposition.
Just remind me again if you will, which team had the best goal difference in the league that season?

That's my point! They conceded far more than most of the teams in the top 7 but won the league on scoring goals (of which RVP scored 30% of them).

Blind confirmed could be the best business you do this window.

I really do think so, he's in Holland tonight with LvG I think, picking up his Dutch Player of the year award, nice way to start his Utd career.

It's nice as a neutral to see the big names, but it's nicer to see clever players in the top division.

Twice in 2 posts we agree smile

Had an interesting theory from a mate today. Blind was always going to be signed, but after the Fellaini issue last year and the reaction he received before he'd even played, they waited until Utd fans were happy with the other business first before doing it. That way he avoids the negativity and pressure from the fans.

Would make sense as he isn't the most glamorous signing.

Rojo isn't the most glamorous either but I think he's going to play a big part too. When people are saying we need defenders, we've lost 3 and replaced them with 3. Vidic wasn't well known when we signed him either, and neither was Evra. We'll see how well they do before judging, but I'm very hopeful. smile

Sat waiting to knock one out over the Falcao confirmation though. I know it's highly likely to go through but I can't help worrying. biggrin

Good move for him, I think he can do well. And Welbeck deal agreed according to SSN.
