High quality problem....
High quality tantrums too, United only have 35 games left to play this season , possibly a few more if they take the FA cup seriously.

Their wages to games ratio must be huge .

But they can afford it so it matters not.

Thats basically a 442, there really no need for the silly arrows to make it look all modern & continental.

Looks good that doesn't it?

Personally I'd swap Rooney into the hole and bring in RVP alongside Falcao. Mata on the bench for later in the game when there's more time and space behind the front 2. That's assuming a fit a firing RVP of course. With RVP, Shaw and Di Maria that left side should be deadly.

But nice problems to have and no Young anywhere near the starting 11.

Yeah I have seen formations set up like that, for me Rooney isn't as good as Mata in that role though

I think so, I don't think he is performing at the moment

How long is at the moment?

RVP thrives on good service - you have seen how whack your midfield has been lately - is he actually missing chances or just not getting any ?

Well which ever way he goes there's talented cover for every attacking role which we've been lacking for a while. Mata has been hitting the net quite a bit as well so will be interesting to see who misses out. LVG wasn't scared to hook Van Persie during the World Cup so unless he has a stunning return to form you maybe be right in the short term.

Interesting on De Jong, would have been good to see him and Rojo flying into tackles with a bit of bite.

Strootman in Jan seems even more likely now.

I don't think LVG will have a problem benching anyone he doesn't think is going to perform.

He doesn't mince his words either! hehe

"I could have opted for an easier job. If I had gone to Tottenham, the job would not have been as enormous as here at United. I could have easily gone to Spurs. But I chose the biggest challenge of all the jobs in football. And I really wanted to join the number one club in the country, not Tottenham. Financially, Tottenham was kind of as attractive as Man United. But, in my eyes, Man United is still the number one club in England, Tottenham really is not."

He's just made Rooney captain, he's not about to drop him after that surely?

Well we have only played 3 games this season Sye smile are you asking me to predict the future?

Rooney won't be dropped, he has been made captain as LvG expects him to play all games if fit and available

Having a clear-out prior to moving home. Free to a good home: Class of '92 DVD complete with "collectable" poster (poster is unopened so can't tell you what it's of. Possibly a blow-up of Phil Neville's face). PM me an address if anyone wants it.

Alternatively I'll be in Surrey next weekend so can drop it around wink.

Yeah but that is why I was curious to your comment of dropping him as he is not very good atm - thats 3 games with your midfield being as bad as it was/is
So it seems a bit harsh to drop him on that if he is still fit ...

I imagine it will be mata personally -

We are only a couple of games in.... he's still the best of the bunch imo. I cant see LVG leaving him out.

I wonder if he is regretting making rooney skipper, For me he's a long way short of the other two.
