Looks good that doesn't it? Personally I'd swap Rooney into the hole and bring in RVP alongside Falcao. Mata on the bench for later in the game when there's more time and space behind the front 2. That's assuming a fit a firing RVP of course. With RVP, Shaw and Di Maria that left side should be deadly.
But nice problems to have and no Young anywhere near the starting 11.

Yeah I have seen formations set up like that, for me Rooney isn't as good as Mata in that role thoughPersonally I'd swap Rooney into the hole and bring in RVP alongside Falcao. You think he'll drop van pervert?
I think so, I don't think he is performing at the momentanonymous said:

Well which ever way he goes there's talented cover for every attacking role which we've been lacking for a while. Mata has been hitting the net quite a bit as well so will be interesting to see who misses out. LVG wasn't scared to hook Van Persie during the World Cup so unless he has a stunning return to form you maybe be right in the short term.franki68 said:
couple of bits.
the midfielder they went for i mentioned right up to end of window and didnt get was de jong, milan would just not sell him.
mata...most at risk unfortunately
Interesting on De Jong, would have been good to see him and Rojo flying into tackles with a bit of bite.the midfielder they went for i mentioned right up to end of window and didnt get was de jong, milan would just not sell him.

Strootman in Jan seems even more likely now.
I don't think LVG will have a problem benching anyone he doesn't think is going to perform.
He doesn't mince his words either!
"I could have opted for an easier job. If I had gone to Tottenham, the job would not have been as enormous as here at United. I could have easily gone to Spurs. But I chose the biggest challenge of all the jobs in football. And I really wanted to join the number one club in the country, not Tottenham. Financially, Tottenham was kind of as attractive as Man United. But, in my eyes, Man United is still the number one club in England, Tottenham really is not."

How long is at the moment? RVP thrives on good service - you have seen how whack your midfield has been lately - is he actually missing chances or just not getting any ?
Rooney won't be dropped, he has been made captain as LvG expects him to play all games if fit and available

Having a clear-out prior to moving home. Free to a good home: Class of '92 DVD complete with "collectable" poster (poster is unopened so can't tell you what it's of. Possibly a blow-up of Phil Neville's face). PM me an address if anyone wants it.
Alternatively I'll be in Surrey next weekend so can drop it around .

Yeah but that is why I was curious to your comment of dropping him as he is not very good atm - thats 3 games with your midfield being as bad as it was/is So it seems a bit harsh to drop him on that if he is still fit ...
I imagine it will be mata personally -
