Yeah but that is why I was curious to your comment of dropping him as he is not very good atm - thats 3 games with your midfield being as bad as it was/is
So it seems a bit harsh to drop him on that if he is still fit ...

I imagine it will be mata personally -
But IMO in those 3 games he has looked off the pace.

I don't disagree entirely but this was entirely about RvP. We have signed on of the best no 9's in the world, for me for now its RvP who has to make way

Remember Keyser you have signed one of the worlds best CF's before a cruciate thats all I am saying, could take him a while to get going - I dont think you drop the goals RVP gives you , think its risky and for me if you drop RVP for Falcoa I dont see much benefit when both on song - they both bang goals for fun - they are not players who will offer you something totally different, ssay like a Messi or Suarez would.

Again I think he is a great great player but I am just not sure what he offers you diff to a fit RVP - that guy can finish just as good .

He's scored 2 goals in his 3 games back for Monaco wink

I don't know what will happen and it may be shiny new toy syndrome but for all the talk of our midfield and defensive woes I feel any chances we have made haven't been taken as yet

Its a wonderful, joyful problem to have but its also only one that will occur when all our players are fit, something we seem to have real issues with at the moment.

I don't have enough pocket money.
Pfffft. It's only a few paper rounds, get off the Xbox and earn yourself a few quid.

Maybe this has just boxed Rooney in to playing deeper (where we all think he should be headed anyway). RVP & Falcao up front with Rooney in behind.

As club captain he can't really throw his toys around if the manager asks him to play a lynchpin (Captain's) role controlling the game from the middle of the park, can he?

RVP has been complaining about having to share the same space as Rooney, so perhaps this was the plan all along. Make Rooney captain, buy another striker & make Rooney play deeper.

I don't think LVG will have a problem benching anyone he doesn't think is going to perform.

He doesn't mince his words either! hehe

"I could have opted for an easier job. If I had gone to Tottenham, the job would not have been as enormous as here at United. I could have easily gone to Spurs. But I chose the biggest challenge of all the jobs in football. And I really wanted to join the number one club in the country, not Tottenham. Financially, Tottenham was kind of as attractive as Man United. But, in my eyes, Man United is still the number one club in England, Tottenham really is not."
hehe

Could he have mentioned Tottenham in a derogatory manner any more times in just a few sentences?

He's certainly given most of us the early season giggles.

He'll win a game soon I'm sure.

Once he has got a few wins under his belt he will make Fergie look like a diplomat.
I think it could be a cracker once it all goes off.

He wouldn't have lasted 6 months with Levy.

Levy's ego is far too big to stomach LVG.

Germany v Argentina is on BT Sport 1 for anyone who wants to watch Rojo. Or just watch a better match than Eng v Nor.

It would be even better if he was linking up with a world class striker like Falcao!
