I'd be embarrassed if my team did that.
A United fan that's embarrassed?

Impossible.
A Spurs fan that's seen his team lose 2-1 from a leading position to Newcastle?

Possible.
Leicester.
20?

yes They'll probably be the most boring team to win the league since... well, since they won it last time I imagine.
2010 when we set the goals scored record?

I thought Fellani was much improved today.
Just home from the game.
Fellani was a man transformed today. Confident and positive.
Don't listen to the MotD2 twaddle. Chelsea were plain dirty. Cynical fouls across the park that the Ref lost patience with.
In the 2nd half, Utd slept for 15 minutes then turned it on. Chelski thought 1-0 was good enough and called it wrong.
RVP lit the place up in Fergie time. clapbeer

7 bookings across 6 players for the Chavs today & barely an accidental foul amongst them. Cynical stuff indeed.....

Encouraging stuff, some big improvements in performances from smalling,Fellaini and shaw ,sickening hearNg them rant on about the so called penalty ,after the decisions United have had in recent weeks it was about time ,were still due another 5 iffy ones by my reckoning this season,
We created a lot more than Chelsea and they were really cynical, don't think Jose can moan, every time.there was a sign of a break or an opportunity to create danger there was a foul,
Didn't think we would get back into it though ,they did look to shut up shop after the goal ,but some good character being shown, just get someone who can organize the defence and we' could challenge, becausee we look like we have plenty of goals .

I thought we were very fortunate to get that draw - second half we were dominated.

Ivan was a tad unlucky as it could be argued it wasn't deliberate but I'll take it.

first half was a good contest - best we've played this season. Ironically isn't this start to the season exactly the same as Moyes'?

They had 8 efforts on goal the whole game. , we had 18 , is that being dominated ?as for the sending off , deserved ,they spent the entire game fouling every time a break or threat was on, he could have had 2 yellows in the first half for clatteting people who got past him. I thought they made wengers comments seem valid about how they try to fk
Up
The opponents attacks, nothing nAsty , just constant pull backs, trips .

Probably, maybe even worse considering the fixture list....

...but the difference is that we appear to be getting better, not worse.

If we're talking cynical and dirty, Rojo and Smalling getting Terry and Ivanovic in full headlocks might just be included in that description.

The ref was your best player!

Indeed, clearly instructed to copy chelsea tactics at corners smile And its not as if terry and ivanovic werent giving it back wink.
the result was fair,we were the better team first half and chelsea were better the 2nd half ,overall United created more chances ,so I wouldnt moan too much .

I'd like to see how long the ball was in play during the second half out of the available 45 minutes. A huge amount of time was wasted due to Mourihno's cynical tactics after Chelsea went ahead. They're not pretty and that last second equaliser was much deserved.

But a much improved performance from United. I know Costa was missing but so were Rooney and Falcao there didn't look to be a 10 point gap between the teams.

Yep,although I don't see the relevance ...unlike Robby savage 'united had one attempt on goal' ..

So United had more possession ,more than double chelsea efforts on goal, double the number of shots on target and Chelsea's keeper was man of the match ,but apparently they dominated United?
stats can be misleading but not in this instance .
and why did Chelsea need to kick and foul a United player every time a break or threat was on if they were in. Such control?

The shenanigans at corners simply have to be stamped out. I believe its now gotten to same distatsteful and downright cheating level as diving. The only difference being that diving, when spotted by the ref, usually produces a yellow card whereas wrestling a man to the ground at a corner in full view of the ref appears to have no consequences.

This is not a pop at United as all teams appear to be adept it nowadays.

Can't say I disagree with you - but then I've also seen comments from ex-players & pundits saying "leave them to it, let them sort themselves out."

A few red cards for cheating (which might encompass some of the wrestling bks and, being obviously late into a tackle as some of the offences that Chelsea picked up Yellows for on Sunday) wouldn't go amiss IMO.

You can see with a lot of those offences no surprise whatsoever when they get booked, they know they are going to get booked but its deemed a price worth paying. That's a pretty fked up attitude/approach to playing any sport IMO.

Agreed. The 'tactical' fouls to stop breaks by the other team are being taken too far now and it's starting to piss me off. All teams do it and it's completely unacceptable IMO.

Why's Rooney suspended at the moment? wink
