He's not happy. Nobody like him in Italy and there's no red meet for breakfast!
I'm sure he could not be any worse than Smalling.
We all know his star had faded somewhat, but the benefit of out defenders especially Rojo of having him in training week in week out would be enough IMO.I'm sure he could not be any worse than Smalling.

What a marvellous job LVG has done with limited resources compared to Moyes!
i would like to see what the table would look like if say Chelsea had their entire back 4 and their immediate replacements injured for most of the season,or any team for that matter. The back 4 the other day was 2 midfielders and 2 19 year olds,he's had to blood 2 centre halves who weren't even near the first team last year .
Saying that ,how no one at United over the last 5" seasons hasn't spotted the issue with injuries beggars belief,United have acquired the biggest bunch of injury prone defenders the world has ever seen .

Was always a big worry with him, quality is not to be questioned but fitness always big worry.Did you have to pay loan fee as well as the 250k a week?
Daley Blind has agreed with Gary Neville’s stinging criticism of his passing, saying that he has been looking for the easy pass too often.
“He is quite negative” – Man United Icon Gordon McQueen slams Daley Blind
Neville told Sky Sports last month that Blind, 24, needed to “start looking up more and playing forward” and that the midfielder was playing “far too many square passes”.
And surprisingly the Manchester United man agreed with Neville, admitting that he needed to improve on that area of his game.
“I think I am a player who keeps the ball and helps the rest of the team,” said Blind.
“I’m somebody who tries to play the easy pass instead of the difficult option, but it’s also there [in this area of my game] that I have to improve myself.
“I always try to do my best and do what the coach asks of me.”
Blind’s performances have been mixed so far since his £16m summer move from Ajax. He managed to score a dramatic late equaliser against West Brom last month, however has been unable to inspire the team’s performance from the middle of the park.
Louis van Gaal’s side lie in 7th after an inconsistent start to the season which has seen them beaten by the likes of Swansea and Leicester and held to draws by Burnley and Sunderland. However the Red Devil’s are just two points off the top four heading into the international break.
