No offence taken. Would 'let's get hold of a luxury striker when we are on the bones of our arse at the back' be sound judgement?
not sure Falcao was lvg's decision .

Isn't that to be expected considering your grounds capacity is so much higher than everyone elses?
They take into account noise created at away games too. Same result.

More importantly, it puts the myth of OT having no atmosphere to bed.
Not really, Chelsea and Spurs are only 6 and 7 decibels behind you with (in Spurs case) less than half the capacity.
6dB down is half then half again. This is the least scientific experiment I have seen in a while.

If he wasn't then I was wrong in that respect. However, Di Maria was another luxury in my opinion.

Time will tell,I won't jump to conclusions based on a team integrating numerous new foreign players who don't speak English and suffering injury after injury, making any sort of continuity impossible.

RVPs form or lack of is exposing the sale of Welbeck imho.

Squad player or not, as I've said many times, the premier league is won by the team with the best squad not always the best first eleven.

As much as we are struggling defensively, RVP is having no influence on the games at present I think his legs have gone.... see Gerrard for the bins for the same...

we should cash in if we can in January...as for all the injuries, it is worrying, we seem to be like the Newcastle of a few years ago - issues in the back room, conditioning etc...

Saturday was a very good result, if not a good performance, de gea once again MOM not for the first time this season which is increasingly alarming...
With 20/20 hindsight, I wish we had sold RVP not Danny.
RVP has not been brilliant this season and his form is waining but still scored more than Danny, played less games. Even though I think Danny is a good player, works hard, quick and always puts in 100% he is not prolific enough. Look at the game on Saturday he could have easily had a couple of goals, he just cannot finish. Plus he has been playing upfront for Arsenal and still not scored enough.

RVP will always get you goals.

^ If he (RVP) gets into goal scoring positions, the problem is he isn't he needs to play as a number 9 if he's going to score.

Rojo and Falcao in contention for Saturday.

I do hope we see a fit and firing Falcao the battle for champions league spots or perhaps just 4th is bloody tight right now. Saints have a tough week ahead then we play them next Monday. After home games against Hull and Stoke.

9 points needed. Should be an interesting week.

LVG talked the talk about no-ones place being safe, esp. strikers not taking chances.
Best possible reply.
