You will soon be like Englands own Real Madrid buying all the big names

I'm not sure I want to end up like that though.ttS
Whilst it's obviously exciting that it sounds like we'll be making a few more 'big' signings, I don't want us to turn into a team of mercenaries who don't fully understand/buy in to what it means to play for United.

Not quite living up to his billing - cant see this deal ever going through, to much of a gamble

Certainly looks that way currently, a long way to go in the season yet though. Not quite living up to his billing - cant see this deal ever going through, to much of a gamble
I'm glad we went for the loan option though, yes it will have cost us a bit but at least we can just say no ta at the end of it. Will be a shame though, all the reports coming out are that he is a really top guy, liked by a lot of the players and very grounded, would love to see him recover his fitness.
Big game for us tonight, not only to grab 3rd but apparently Koeman and LvG detest each other. We need to take advantage of the teams around us not performing this weekend.

The table nowadays looks weird with you guys in the top four ...
I think Saints have a couple of midfielders out but they're a class act on their day so you'll have your work cut out to get a win down there.
Could be a good match.

We had 1 season out of it. We won the league the year before that

He will need to stay fit and score a lot of goals over the next few months for it to happen. He's got the full support of the crowd which will help. Be a real shame if he can't get back to his best at United or elsewhere as he was great to watch. Not quite living up to his billing - cant see this deal ever going through, to much of a gamble

Six hours to go. With the rest of the weekends results 3 points is a must. Fergie always wanted us in contention at the top at the turn of the year and we need to be dispatching Southampton in order to keep up with City and Chelsea.
Very interesting fixture.

No one has ever won the Premier league after having less than 18 points after 10 games.Only 3 teams had more than 18 points at that stage :
Chelski
Citeh
Saints
It is a gunfight between the other 2 I am afraid.
Not saying we are good enough to win it because I doubt we are, but to say its impossible isn't really true.....
