He isn't coming back a better player, and if he whinges on about not getting a game for Madrid, imagine what he'll be like if he doesn't get a game for your lot.

hehe indeed, I think they have both had their time at Utd. I'm sadder about Little Pea than I am about Nano.

Wilson...the jury's out for me, seen it all before...look at Kane, got his chance...taken it.

You'd take Rooney, RVP, Falcao and Wilson as your 4 strikers though wouldn't you? The question is how best to get them scoring...

Are we all agreed though now that Rooney is in fact a striker not a midfielder, something I've been arguing for years. biggrin
I would keep Rooney and Wilson. I would offload both RVP (he seems to be gone for good this time) and Falcao and spend £20m each on a couple of promising young strikers.

If the worst comes to the worst, we can play very two attacking wingers in support of Rooney upfront on his own or, although it pains me to say it, alongside Fellaini!

Worlds fastest footballer. We have two in the top ten but not who you'd think!

Rooney has always been deceptively fast, especially with the ball at his feet.

Valencia (and Bale to a lesser extent) are not really playing fair, as they don't so much dribble as hoof the ball forward and chase it.

Did anyone catch Memphis (sounds cooler than Depay) playing for the Netherlands the other day?

Very talented and exciting in that game. Loads of players can do it in the Dutch league though, even Dirk Kuyt was the league's top scorer there at one point.

Who PSV have admitted is likely to leave

Who took advice from LvG to stay another season and improve before leaving

Who is currently being advised by Ruud Van Nistlerooy

I'd be surprised if he doesn't play for us next season biggrin

LOL, indeed loads of players can be topscorer in the Dutch leaque quite easily; J.Cruyff, M.van Basten, D.Bergkamp, P.Kluivert, R.van Nistelrooy, Romario, Ronaldo, Huntelaar, Bony, L.Suarez, L.Nilis, O.Kindvall, R.Geels, etc ;-)

But Depay is clearly a very talented player, considering his age, easily one of the best in Europe right now. Still a bit of a "rough diamond" though. Already linked to Tottenham and ManU. Tottenham already made an offer prior to this season, which both Depay and PSV denied.

And to be frank, considering his quality's and already playing for PSV; if I was Depay I wouldn't even consider Tottenham; just go straight to ManU.

Could be the next C.Ronaldo. Do hope that PSV do not sell him for a handful, if players like Lallana and L.Shaw sell for 30+ million pounds then Depay certainly should as well.

Heads up for fellow match going reds. The swing bridge on Trafford Road is down to one lane for repairs, looked like restrictions would stay in place for the weekend. Could be carnage on Saturday if you come in that way.

Can anyone confirm the dress code for boxes at Old Trafford?

Not sure which stand / box etc unfortunately at the moment - all we've been told is smart casual and no team colours. Is Dark Denim acceptable?

Regardless of where you are in the ground no team colours is a ridiculous thing to state imo.
