I don't think you appreciate just how poor the standard of women's football is if you compare it directly with the men's game
If England ladies played a side from the Conference North, they would get absolutely pummeled. Or another example, if you took a league 2 player and stuck him in the England side at the next women's world cup, he'd probably single handedly win them the tournament

I agree that the levels of speed and strength are lacking. But there is plenty of skill.

It depends on the event and I'm not talking necessarily Olympic level. Take a top woman player, coud she hold herwn for Rotherham or Northampton. Clearly not Manchester City or Arsenal but how far down the league would you need to go. Thankyou4calling said:

Clearly not Manchester City or Arsenal but how far down the league would you need to go. In the league pyramid you'd be down a long way. I would say even Sunday leagues they'd struggle.
