seriously, there are no women in the world with stronger legs than Messi or Neymar?
never mind some dude in Doncaster
The top players have genetics and training on their side. Women are simply not built in a way to enable them to compete unless as stated earlier they are freakishly like a man ie influenced by the male hormone. Re the tennis example though it seems even then they are at a disadvantage vs an almost Top 200 man.never mind some dude in Doncaster
TX.
remember Daley Thompson's football career? ok, he was past his prime, but decathletes are arguably the fittest all-round athletes
oddballs like Peter Crouch or chubby fellas like Matt Le Tissier show that it's not all about athleticism. Even the amount of players continuing into their late 30s shows that

There is no physiological reason whatsoever why a woman's eyesight and reflexes should be any slower, or faster than a man's.
As for the physical confrontation and intimidation of facing serious fast bowling, no-one much likes it as we have seen so vividly in the Ashes down under this winter.
Agreed. However would she have the strength to move a bat heavy enough to actually do anything but block the ball? As for the physical confrontation and intimidation of facing serious fast bowling, no-one much likes it as we have seen so vividly in the Ashes down under this winter.
Cricketers are rather athletic now. Gone are the days of the fat posh bloke... and even fatties like warne and Inzi were strong as oxes. Tessa probably could, but I think picking a javelin thrower is a bit extreme, and the fact of the matter is steve backley could hit it even harder.
and this was is what it boils down too. I am probably in the top 10% of men off the street in strength: I am probably the same as the top 0.1% of women. The naturally high testosterone in comparison and the millions of years of evolution to be stronger really help!
