Any chance the EPL will accept this god forsaken bigoted club into the league so we can cleanse Scottish football of these idiots?

Imagine an English club's supporters getting a song celebrating 9/11 bombers into the charts and you have an idea of the lunacy of this.

Celtic Football Club, a political terrorist hideout first, a football club second. Just vile.

Absolutely not. We've spent 35 yrs trying to rid our game of bigots and racists, and we're still not finished the job. We ain't about to go back to the 70s by having your lot down here.

If Celtic and Rangers were playing in my back garden, I'd draw the curtains and turn the stereo up. You can fking keep them!

roll on Scottish independence so all this rubbish about Scottish clubs joining the beautiful game can be put to rest.

Not like this you don't. They can stay up there, we've spent a long time cleaning up our act. Roll on independence, although we all know when push comes to shove they won't vote for it.

Celtic supporters pretend to be Irish and claim to hate everything to do with being British. Remember their vile poppy banner?

They should not be allowed anywhere near a British league if it were to happen.

If Rangers and Celtic want to play in the English league, then they can start in the bottom tier as far as I am concerned like every other club has to. We should not make special dispensation to allow them to jump into league 1 or the championship. As for a British league.... For years there has been speculation, but I would not like to see it. Rangers and Celtic are the only ones who would really benefit as their income would increase. They might bring a lot of fans to the game, but given the incidents when they play Man Utd and others in the champions league, I'd rather they stayed in their own league.
I also don't think that it would help Scotland develop their national team as the league without Rangers and Celtic would be very poor

And on the other hand I have served in British Armed Forces with Celtic football fans who were very proud to be British, they aren't all anti British.

I agree they should start in the bottom tier, still don't understand why Rangers didn't fight harder to get in the English leagues, 5 years and they would be in the Prem playing against the big boys.

I don't think that they would make it to the Premier league that easily if they started at the bottom. The Championship is a tough place to be and has a number of good teams in it.

I've got a couple of mates just like this but they're few and far between.

Far far too many Celtic fans are bile filled hate mongers and I think a good majority of football fans south of the border know exactly what they are all about and have no time for it.

Seriiously? Another quite clearly anti-catholic pile of bks?

As a catholic ex-army officer i find the bile that's spouted by the anti-celtic rangers idiots quite galling.

How long and how much bigotry must a minority suffer before they start retaliating?

The issue that is being raised, and I don't agree with 90% of the green brigade's points, is that you cannot even raise a voice from a republican catholic perspective in Scotland that you could quite legitlmatley in the rest of the UK.

It is very little to do with what went on 30 years ago.

Anti-Catholic? Let us see who this lovely song references shall we, since you are obviously oblivious to the subject matter.

Sitting comfortably? Then let us begin with the Celtic supporters hero's...

Bobby Sands – Active Provisional IRA member. Convicted of possession of firearms and of possession of a gun used to fire at RUC officers after the Balmoral Furniture Company bombing in Dunmurry. He’s described in the song as “gallant”.

Francis Hughes – Active Provisional IRA member. Hughes was tried for, and found guilty of, the murder of one British Army soldier (for which he received a life sentence) and wounding of another (for which he received 14 years) in the incident which led to his capture, as well as a series of gun and bomb attacks over a six-year period.

Raymond McCreesh - Active Provisional IRA member. Convicted and sentenced to fourteen years in prison for attempted murder and possession of a rifle and ammunition.

Patsy O’Hara – Active INLA member and convicted of possessing a hand grenade.

Joe McDonnell - Active Provisional IRA member. Convicted and sentenced to 14 years in prison for possession of a firearm.

Martin Hurson – Active Provisional IRA member.Convicted of involvement in three IRA landmine incidents where several members of the Royal Ulster Constabulary and Ulster Defence Regiment narrowly escaped being killed.

Kevin Lynch – Active INLA member. Convicted and sentenced to ten years for stealing shotguns, taking part in a punishment shooting and conspiring to take arms from the security forces.

Kieran Doherty – Active Provisional IRA Member. Convicted and sentenced to 18 years for possession of firearms and explosives after being caught on his way to set a bomb.

Thomas McElwee – Active Provisional IRA member. Sentenced to 20 years prison for possession of explosives and the murder of 26-year-old Yvonne Dunlop, who was burnt alive when one of his firebombs destroyed her clothes shop.

Michael Devine – Founder member of the INLA. Convicted of firearms offences.

Each one a filthy terrorist scumbag.

Where does your ridiculous 'Anti-Catholic' comment come from? We are are talking about republican terrorists and a vile support that has sympathies towards them. It's 2014, these idiots (most of whom have probably never set a foot in the Republic of Ireland) seem to want to live in an era most decent people would want left in the past.

I'll never forget the day a bunch of utter s wearing footie strips came and kicked the st out of manchester for no reason, putting 2 female coppers in prison.
The behaviour of the "fans" that day didn't just bring shame on their club, but all of scotland. It's a real pity, because other than the scum, Scotland is a glorious place filled with really friendly people.

Spot on.

Now do you have any opinion at all on the actual subject matter of this thread that you seem to have ignored?

Not really. Scum is scum whether they are wearing hoops or blue. Do you honestly think that proper celtic fans are all terrorists? Of course not, it's the st that hangs around and uses the club as an excuse to form a rabble.
