I just voted 'NO' but I really think I'm wrong.
Moyes almost looks like a broken man.!!! Captain of the Titanic springs to mind.
We look so bad now, I cant see Moyes being given the money to go shopping.
I also dont think that they will wait until the end of the season. If they do, then the next man will be in the same boat as to who to keep, who to buy.
I still hate the fact that we got rid of a back room staff who only knew winning and replaced them with staff having mainly with a lower expectation or of having won nothing.
If Ole Gunnar had been 5 more years into his management career then maybe we would be smiling now. He is allready proving he has that winning mentality.
That man has a scarier stare than SAF had.

I don't think it's about this season's CL. Realistically Man Utd have no chance of beating Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid (or even Chelsea) unless they get to the final (where Chelsea proved it can be done in a one-off game).
What's more important is being in the CL next season - losing that revenue stream could start a downward spiral that will take some time to recover from. They are in an odd position now - I think it's too late to sack Moyes this season, because whoever comes in doesn't have enough games left to get them into the top 4. So the horse has already bolted.
Personally though, I would get rid now. They must have had a fair idea how Liverpool were going to set up, but tactically Moyes got it completely wrong. Mata on the wing? Not helped though by his senior players having a collective nightmare.
But I'm not sure they will - Moyes was Fergie's choice and it will be hard to admit they made a big mistake. Wouldn't surprise me to see him start next season in charge.

To be honest there were cracks when Fergie left in my opinion. They didn't look as dominant as they have been in recent history but back then, other teams around them were pretty inconsistant too. Now, the big teams have caught up and overtaken Man U to some extent. I think with some spending and building, Moyes can do great things with the team but at the minute, instant results is the order of the day. He might not be given the time to do it.
How much would it cost to sack him ?
How long is his contract and how much is his salary ?
After United, he will not find work for long time........ maybe never like Roy Evans.
There is a good chance he will demand full payment/compensation.
Do folks this think this will determine whether he is sacked soon or not ?

6 years, c.£100k/wk.United must have worked in some sort of performance clause to enable them to get rid of him for less than the full buy out value though.
If they do have to pay Moyes off, buy virtually a whole new team, and then buy a new manager out of whatever contract he currently has, it could be a VERY expensive summer for the Glasiers.

We were discussing this at lunch, and I said that ironically the manager they need above all else is Rodgers. There is zero chance of it though.
Why ? He loves being the centre of attention, surely if United dangled a big enough carrot he may well be tempted,It is without doubt the biggest job in English football,

It's only been such a big job due to the success.
A couple of seasons of finishing outside of Europe and before you know it Graham Souness is in charge.
He always looks in a state of disappointment on the sidelines. Just look at his reaction to Vidic jumping into the challenge which led to a penalty. Sturridge bought the pen, but it was a tackle he couldn't win.
I think he'll go at the end of season, maybe even resign and his replacement may be Fergie's old mate Queiroz.

I can see him leaving at the end of the season.
It's not so much the league position or imminent CL knock out as the lack of tactical knowledge, defeatist (defeated?) attitude, inability to coax performances from the players, seemingly no plan when buying players, allowing certain players to walk all over the club, not stepping up to the Utd mentality and instead bringing in Everton tactics and Everton coaches and being surprised when the the team turn into Everton.
But for me it's quite a straightforward decision. Utd need to spend big this summer. Would you trust Moyes with that now? Not a chance.

Not a chance. Even if they finished this season in 15th position. He'll get the summer to bring in new players and mould the squad to his liking.
Then, if next season after 6-10 games things aren't any better, then he'll be sacked.
Would the Glazers really want to let him loose with the whole summer transfer budget? His results as a manager and no champions league will make it near impossible to attract world class players. Then, if next season after 6-10 games things aren't any better, then he'll be sacked.
He may end up blowing the lot of absolute dross for the next manager! I bet the Glazer's are absolutely cacking themselves. Share price plummeting, debt rising, no champions league, players leaving.
Shame.

In one respect I feel sorry for Moyes. Imagine standing in the manager's area staring at
THE SIR ALEX FERGUSON STAND opposite you for ninety minutes every week.
Just rubs salt into the wounds.
He will be gone by the summer...not up to it...a lightweight.
Shame, because I think he's a decent bloke.
