Never heard of Eric Dier. As for left back last season that was pretty dire. Ben Davies is a good young player and the move from Swansea should make him a better player and hopefully he will be the first choice left back. I know some Swansea fans were not happy about losing Davies.

Time to google Eric Dier.

I'm interested in hearing his accent. That's about it.

Well it's better than potential alternatives as I read it as Dyer.

Maybe you are saving the transfer budget for the new manager?

Solve an office argument for me please.

Remember ages ago when we signed both Kyle Naughton and Kyle Walker from Sheffield United at the same time.

We both of us in the office remember that one was supposedly going to be a likely England regular and the other, whilst good, was just a deal make-weight.
Which was which?

According to this article - Naughton was the hot prospect smile

I honestly believe that shows what work ethic can do. Say what you want about Walker, but he's committed.

You could say the same about Gareth Bale. When he first came to Tottenham he was an average player. The transformation to what he is now is incredible.

Lots & lots of news outlets linking us with Villarreal Star Mateo Musacchio , £20 odd M they are saying,

I'm quite warming to our new manager , he seems to be addressing the areas where we seem the most vulnerable ,

btw does anyone know if our game against Celtic this afternoon is being shown anywhere ?
