We finished above Liverpool 4 out of the past 5 seasons & it would have been five out of five if you're lot hadn't lucked out with the one good decision Comoli ever made. What does that make you?

Anyway, show me a club that isn't run on a professional business footing & I'll show you Portsmouth or maybe Leeds.

We have finished in front of Liverpool in 4 of the last 5 seasons and we pretty much always finish above Everton. So i don't see that as a barometer.
I love your arbitrary frame of reference picked to sound the most favourable, coinciding with our worst run in 50 odd years after being brought to our knees by the cancers who 'ran' the club. Bravo! hehe

Lots & lots of news outlets linking us with Villarreal Star Mateo Musacchio , £20 odd M they are saying,

I'm quite warming to our new manager , he seems to be addressing the areas where we seem the most vulnerable ,
Yup. Left back with Davies and now a decent CB with Musacchio.

Which is the exact same argument you made tonight referring to Levy. It's insulting (as usual) how stupid you think other people are.

No but it can probably outlive their interest/investment.

Well where we finished and who we finished above 50 years ago has less of a baring than what happened two seasons ago doesn't it.

Also the stadium won't be built while levy is in charge.

Combined with FFP it can. Depends on the Sheilk/Oligarch oligarch though....the Arab's seem to be intent on trying every trick in the book to get round it. Wenger's point he made over the weekend about Lampard being loaned to Man City from their NYC club is a good one....they are trying every angle they can.

FFP is a crock of st anyway. All it will achieve (and no doubt all it was designed to achieve) is to maintain the status quo. So you will no longer be able to do a Chelsea or a Citeh; it's been legislated against. Which means your United's, Real's, Barca's, Bayern's etc can look forward to years of security with no risk of upstart club's challenging their dominance.

It's no longer a "free market". Clubs (businesses) can no longer take risks, speculate to accumulate. It's a closed shop. Sure, it means that club's are far less likely to fail but equally means that they are far less likely to be successful. It's almost become a franchise. If you want to sit at the top table, you need to buy a franchise (club) as there is no way of getting their on your own.

It's part of the roadmap to a Euro Super League; with no relegation or promotion, just franchised teams, like in the US.

IMHO.

I've been saying this for years, There will become a time when the top 16 or so richest just play in a Euro super league.

If a gazillionaire puts Spurs in there would you turn your back?

This Musacchio rumour seems to have gained credibility. £17m and his exit apparently confirmed by Villarreal coach.
