Whilst of course I hope you are right I don't think Southampton can change their minds now. They would look rather stupid given the comments of both the Southampton chairman and manager. All of this could have been avoided with a proper bid at the beginning of the window.

The Argie defender may well end up here but at the moment it's all looking a bit 'montinho' to me.

As for the right back whilst again I hope you are right, I'll have to take your word for him being one of the most highly rated youngsters in world football what I do know is if that's the case it's very unusual to get one of them for £2.5m....
