But how many signings does the chairman give the new manager though? 4 have already come in the door with not much if anything gone out. You say the one player he wants...but that's on top of those other 4.
At some point you've got to draw the line.
So far every weakness of the squad has been addressed (you could argue another striker is needed) but buying a midfielder is nowhere near the top of the list.
I think it's pretty obvious schniderlin is his no 1 target. At some point you've got to draw the line.

As for those four we have signed they haven't actually cost us anything we've sold siggy and Livermore don't forget....
Anyway realistically only one of those four is a first 11 player. We have plenty of squad players what we need is quality and if poch thinks that schniderlin is quality then levy owes it to him to deliver IMO.

But if Southampton don't want to sell then there isn't much that can be done is there?
Southampton have spent all summer proving that if the price is right they will sell anyone. London424 said:

For all we know he could come in for £21m and help us to 3rd place.

That's the point the manager thinks he is an upgrade and it should be his opinion that counts not mine, not yours and not Levys.
That's the problem though innit. He's got an eye for a bargain to flip on, but I don't think he has a track record for paying the full whack to a club who doesn't want to sell.I'd have liked to have seen him at Spurs. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28878088

I would have with 'Arry as manager but not with AVB, Sherwood or Poch. He is exceptionally hard to manage. He's the sort of player you want in the PL, just not at your club.g3org3y said:

I wouldn't he's nutcase, £150k p/w and not actually that good, there is a reason why he moves club every other season.ascayman said:
you've put it up £20k in two mins.
p.s that's NET
Wages in reality mean nothing to us fans if someone is scoring - if he was on 200k a week sat on the bench and not bagging goals then maybe..... but he has scored wherever he has been so not for one minute will you see any fans bringing up his wage, especially as its not that high compare to others.p.s that's NET
Luke Shaw is on 100k a week at Utd and he is to fat to play.

What, the same reason Zlatan Ibrahimovic moves clubs every other season or so?Gassing Station | Football | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
