you've put it up £20k in two mins. laugh

p.s that's NET
Wages in reality mean nothing to us fans if someone is scoring - if he was on 200k a week sat on the bench and not bagging goals then maybe..... but he has scored wherever he has been so not for one minute will you see any fans bringing up his wage, especially as its not that high compare to others.

Luke Shaw is on 100k a week at Utd and he is to fat to play.
I understand that but in the other thread you were stating what a good deal it is financially, you cant just ignore the wages in that case.

Also in terms of transfer fees, 1 x Luke Shaw = Studge + Coutinho + Balo.

The difference being that the Zlatan is (in my opinion) a far far better player.
Mine too, I personally don't rate Balotelli, but moving clubs every other year has no bearing; that's what some players just like to do.

We will see; Rodgers could drive him to achieve more.

Shane long was on 50k a year at hull (6.5m buy) so after a 12m move safe to say he is now on around 70k a week - 10k less than Balotelli is on at AC Milan -

I'm trying to be polite im not sure why your being so aggressive old chap.

For clarity, the wage YOU posted in the article YOU linked was £4.3m NET. that's neither 60 grand a week and nor is it 80 grand a week.

I think ill leave it there as ever it seems you cant have a simple conversation about Liverpool without it turning nasty.

Apologies went off on a bit of a tangent -

Think its due to the happiness of knowing if he signs we wont have to go till Jan with just 2 strikers (if Borini goes)

Wages mean nowt to me if someone is doing there job and FSG never pay high wages - they increase with bonuses, so if he is earning it means he is doing his job... thats all any fan cares about

At the end of the day if he signs for £16m

Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli to Liverpool - £29M
Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United - £28.5M

I saw that too & chuckled, www.caughtoffside i believe , you're favourite read .

Are Liverpool really going to pay that fruit & nut cakehead nearly £200k a week ?

I'm sure Sturridge will be over the moon with a new main man taking all the limelight away.

Sounds like they are already hitting the big red panic button.

Did you know 'gullible' isn't in the dictionary Sye?

Shaw himself has said he's not on 100k a week FFS.

I'm sure the Liverpool fans on here just make up numbers to justify things

There's no way Balo is going to be on £100K Gross as guessed by Sye on the Pool thread, i'm no mathmatician but i would assume that that figure would gety him around £60k a week take home ?

What would be the sense in moving from your home country to take a more or less 50% pay cut ?

This is going to be a huge gamble for Rodgers & FSG if they do sign him.

Would be so funny if it all went tits up wouldn't it. Fingers firmly crossed.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dier gets moved to RB (while Walker is injured and the Yank joins in Jan) with Vert and Kaboul as the first choice pairing (assuming no other signings come in).
