Thank fk LVG turned us down.
He'd have been removed by now, and quite rightly too.

Quite happily counting our lucky stars that one didn't work out!

Lets hope DL doesnt convince MoPo that Welbeck and/or Hernandez would be a good bargain. ( Esp on that performance tonight, both missed good chances to score

Trawling thru the tweets, I highly doubt that either will come our way thankfully! I don't think either will give anything above or over what we have currently. If anything, I wouldn't put it rule out a last minute deal on someone like Morata/Remy/Lavezzi etc

I hope you are right despite our very good start there are still a number of holes in this squad and team. Levy really does need to splash the cash...

Another CB signed...the only area you could even put a question on would be a striker...but with only playing 1 up and 3 in the squad I don't think it's a big deal.

In other news...is this the first sign of a coming apocalypse? An article from Ashton being nice about Spurs!

Don't forget its African Nations this season, so basically we wont see ade after xmas.

+ despite two clean sheets Kaboul still looks suspect i'm not sure he'll ever get back to the level he was at pre injuries.

Poch also clearly thinks we are short on quality in midfield.

We must have tons of money in the bank, time for levy to back his manager.

I thought he bailed on that since everyone tried to shoot him to death?

He's bailed several times, seems to change his mind when he realises he gets a couple of months extra holiday out of it though.

You know our Ade " r will da foe dar team " he'll be off on his African adventure & then forget where the airport is or mislay his passport.

Looks like Poch has addressed all the main positions that needed strengthening with good fair priced decent footballers.

Not too bothered about signing schneiderlin certainly not at the expense of Townsend who is Spurs through & through.

They seem very keen on bringing Harry Kane through the ranks to the first team but i would still like to see another top class centre forward signed.

All in all a good summer i feel for us long suffering spuds .

That's why he has bought a RB, two CB's and a LB this window.

Once Sandro and/or Paulinho are shipped out I wouldn't be surprised if another bid is made.

Sandro looks like he'll be on his way to Italy. I think Paulinho will be given another year.

I think they'd take a sizeable loss on Paulinho, given his recent form - so expect him to stay as you suggest. Still need to ship out another 4 players.

Only because of his attitude which is first class, ability wise he's never shown anything to say that he's good enough for the first team.

He's one of those that you really want to be better than he actually is because he comes across as such top bloke and you want people like that representing your football club.

yes

Spot on sir as was Mick.

It seems like an end of an era with Dawson gone & the Holtby thing looming ever closer.

i suppose we have to move on.

Re: Dawson it is an end of an era, it will be a bit sad rolling up on Sunday and big daws not being there frown without question it is the right thing for all parties though.

I was reminiscing earlier when I first got my season ticket we had Mabbut he was followed by judas then by king then by dawson, so ever since I've been watching Tottenham we have had as our main centre back an Englishman this will be the first season that wont be the case, which is a bit sad in its self imo.
