I'm not so sure about us beating other big teams. I'm not really sure where this enthusiasm comes from. Against west ham we flukes a win that could easily have been a loss and we were crap in that game. Yes we trounced qpr but they were awful and gave us an amount of space we won't see again. So today was our first test and we were st. You only need look at the players selected to see how st we are. I'm pretty gutted about it all really as when I see our team sheet I see a mid table side

Guys you've been watching spurs long enough now I'm amazed you get worked up about it.

Spurs are a 4th - 8th placed club.

If everything works out and other clubs drop points etc they might scrape 4th.

If it all goes tits up they might finish 8th.

But for the most part they'll finish about 6th.

Very average IMHO
Well the only spurs player I think I would swap is your keeper and Allen for one of your better MF.

Sakho made himself look poor with a couple of bad passes, but the LFC jury is still out on him (plays fro France national team so cannot be all bad) and it was a largely untried CB pairing

Outrageous nutmeg tekkers from Bale before slotting it into the bottom corner for two nil. What a finish.

Watching the game today it seemed the the midfield 2 offered you nothing, and when you got the ball around the box there didn't seem to be anyone making runs. Everything was in front of the Liverpool back 4.

Looks like you need someone like Welbeck who is willing to stretch teams.

Pool have a lot of niggly activities, just enough to upset the opposition ,but not so obvious to the officials, lots of hands in back.
Still it was an improvement from last year, and WTF was Ade doing at left back at one point

Last 7 home games against 'pool WWWWWLL, ojk the current trend isn't great but it's not like they have some vodoo hold over the results like Chelski used to.

Looks like it's going to be a busy day at WHL.

Could be 5-6 going out with 1 or 2 coming in.

hehe

I think today we'll see the following out:

Holtby
Sandro
Lennon
Fryers
Townsend (possibly but not likely)

With Falcao going on loan to Utd, I hope we get Welbeck.
