I think that means Cain Hoy have until 10th October to make the offer official.

MP has announced Kaboul as Club captain with Lloris and Adebayor as vice-captains. Thought Vert might have got it.

Adebayor! Really?

Yes...it means they have until 5pm that day to make a bid.

Strange timing, seems very likely that it's the stadium that is driving this given the statements made a few days before...I am guessing it's either than Spurs are finding it harder than they thought to finance the stadium or Cain Hoy think they can do it better than Levy/Enic can.

Don't understand why the statement's been made though as Spurs were delisted a couple of years ago!

I found it odd too considering that they have been de-listed. I guess there are still some shares not held by the company. It kind of makes sense for Enic to look to sell now. They've done all the hard-work (almost) with regards to preparing the land for a new stadium but once they start financing the build and actually put bricks down, they can't really sell until it's completed. So I guess now is the time to see if someone else fancies taking it on.

I'm not sure how it works either. They have been de-listed, and the number of shares and the price of them has no bearing on the price that the club would sell for.

Enic could ask for 20 billion if they wanted and if someone was stupid enough to pay it that's what the price would be.

In summary, no clue what the share bit is about.

Just had a look....Lord Ashcroft owns 3% of Spurs with a couple of fund managers owning tiny %'s. Enic own just over 85% with Levy owning the rest I think.

That said as a private company I don't understand why the official statements for a private company!

Levy doesn't own individual shares, he is a 25% shareholder of Enic iirc

He certainly is although what that clip conveniently misses out is that he gave the ball away in the first place laugh

Partizan Belgrade. They drew with Ludogrets over 2 legs so they must be absolutely fan-bloody-tastic!
