Not a bad game that lads, just sorry we basically played our U21s so couldn't make it more of a contest frown

Ok Spurs got the job done but had Forest put out a stronger squad (didn't even have our two top scorers on the bench) I think the outcome could have been different. Spurs put out a squad desperate to prove why they should be picked every week & did a professional job. Just a shame SP didn't take it bit more serious.

Spurs made 11 changes from the weekend....

That said for 60mins forest were worth their lead, but football matches are longer than that.

yes Spurs did make 11 changes with one player costing more than Forests entire squad.

Spurs also dominated the ball, which was expected really.

I guess what I am trying to say is - had Spurs also played the starting 11 as they did at the weekend, the result could have also swung Forests way because confidence is low within Spurs "first team" where as the 11 he started last night had alot to prove & were trying to give him reason to play them more often. Hope that kinda makes sense....... biggrin

Me too. I got to meet him aged 9 or 10 at Coca Cola Soccer School (remember them?), I was voted best player of the week and got presented by him and Paul Allen.

Get an axe and sit opposite him with a manic smile on your face at the start of the match.

I remember when my sister had a brief stint going out with a Milwall fan and my uncle going absolutely ballistic when he turned up at a family event hehe

Edit - I support West Ham and a few family members don't seem to have a life outside of football hehe
