yes Its killed it somewhat.

I enjoyed the game yesterday, although we have become a counter attacking team, we are really going to struggle to break teams down if we don't score the first goal.

Where's the old goat hanging out on the internet these days? He must feel like he's lost his left arm.

Decent performance. Defensively composed, but still lack options going forward.

Still a big work in progress as all of these players were bought to fit a totally different system to the one Poch is trying to implement.

Will take a couple of seasons for him to get everything in place the way he wants it. If he gets that long!

You say that...but there are still times during the game when someone makes an absolute hash of it, giving the other team a chance. Those individual mistakes just shouldn't happen with the frequency that they do and until they get sorted Spurs will keep shipping goals, especially against the better teams.

You just can't give away goals like that. If the other team has good movement or a 30 yards screamer then fine...but things like Lamela using his wrong foot and slicing it against Arsenal and Vlad doing the same in Europe and then giving the pen away just drains any confidence in the team.

There's a reason why the champions of the league normally have one of the best defensive records...they don't make mistakes.

Well that too obvs. Are you a bunch of fair weather fans then? You should see our thread - it's busier when we lose, such is our loyalty to the club.
Only because you are blind to your averageness so you all excitedly run around (type) waving your arms around (typing) in the mistaken belief that you all know where you're going wrong.
Sorry to break it to you but you're st too and the minute you realise it you'll be just as sanguine as us

Some caller on talk sport summed us up nicely the other day, we've got the squad depth to put out two sides, one for europe and one for the prem, they'd both give each other a good game, but being a good as each other doesn't make either of them good enough to make the top 4, they'd both happily make the top 8.

I'll never understand that. They have played round ball since they were knee high and they do this st as a full time job. How hard would it be to adapt to any system?

I don't understand it either. Run. Kick the ball at a team mate or the goal. Run some more. SHout "Over here Jimmy, pass it here!" and repeat the above. If you are good at running and kicking I don't really understand how you are crap all of a sudden.

If you want a serious answer it's because so much of it is just instinctual. Because you've been doing it so long you just 'know' where to be on the pitch, where other players are going to be and what they're going to do, you don't have to think.

When a new approach is brought in you have to re-train your natural inclinations and that takes time.

It hasn't been the same since. Thankfully Liverpool are back to their average ways so the trolls are back in their box for now.
