We are in trouble I fear. We seem to have a combo of average players who are playing for a manger who doesn't want them. And the pressure of that situation and results is forcing the manager into selection errors.
Firstly you cannot play Fazio over Vertonghen. The gulf in quality between the two of them is massive. Fazio is too slow and cumbersome.
Capoue is not doing his job in midfield. No where near enough tackles or interceptions. Players are free to run straight through our midfield. I would prefer Stambouli to him.
Kane is not the answer. He is a decent squad player but starting him up front alone is ridiculous. Soldado should be playing.
The problem with Eriksen is summed up here: http://thepremierleagueowl.com/tottenhams-christia...
It's the total lack of leadership & personality on the pitch that worries me the most.Firstly you cannot play Fazio over Vertonghen. The gulf in quality between the two of them is massive. Fazio is too slow and cumbersome.

Ade has come out with a few home truths today...probably going to ps off the locals.
Yes I saw that, its the fans fault they cant win at home. Nothing to do with his dismal return of 2 goals in 10 games (both of which were scored at home)
He can fk off as far as i'm concerned, he's a major part of the problem not the solution.

I'm not for a minute suggesting that the team don't deserve criticism, but maybe reserve it until the end of the game...until then, get behind the team.

He's not saying it about him...it's about the fans "supporting" the team. Booing someone after less than 20 minutes isn't very helpful now is it?

Bizarrely and despite the performance the fans did get behind the team yesterday particularly during the second half, perhaps Ade missed it, maybe he was still looking for the correct boots to put on? you know the ones that delayed him coming on by several minutes. Spurs fans are awful for saying one thing (we need stability) and then moaning about the new manager when less than 10 games have been played in the new regime and are booing players for mistakes/misplaced passes after 20 mins.

Now, though, we are just so fking boring. Boring tactics, crap boring players, complete lack of passion and complete lack of flair. It is literally impossible to enthusiastically cheer them for more than about 15 seconds.

The most frustrating thing for me is how clueless some of the players look when doing something they've been doing since they were kids.
I also think that MP is having to deal with a squad of players he doesn't want, but can't disrupt some of the characters until he can shift them on.
The advantage he had at Southampton was he had a lot of youth that bought into the way he wanted to do things and wanted to learn. At Spurs I think there are a few too many big time charlies that think they know better and so you end up with a whole lot of rubbish on display.

Even if you are st, as long as you put in some graft fans will appreciate that.
It drives me crazy when I see the typical bread and butter stuff done badly:
- can't pass
- can't cross
- corners don't beat the first defender
- shocking free kick delivery
What do these clowns do in training?

This 20 minute booing thing, I didn't hear it but a lot of booing was aimed at the Stoke players about that time for constant time wasting.I'm not for a minute suggesting that the team don't deserve criticism, but maybe reserve it until the end of the game...until then, get behind the team.
When Ade was warming up on the touchline he was applauded and he applauded the supporters.

As I said, it wasn't about fans booing him, but the general tone and the tension that can bring into the players.

I said this too. In fact, when we went 2-0 down and were playing atrociously the fans were loudly singing 'come on you Spurs'. When Ade was warming up on the touchline he was applauded and he applauded the supporters.

Levy does seem to be in a more precarious position than ever before. However, Uncle Joe has stuck with him through thin and thinner. I'm not sure what, if anything, would persuade our reclusive billionaire owner to part with him.I honestly don't understand the criticism of Levy.
His job is to manage the club and for it to be financially stable. He does that brilliantly.
That we are not a top 4 team is not his fault, it is the fact we simply do not have the financial clout to be one.
The only way that will change is with the new stadium, which he is doing.
