What do these clowns do in training?
I think they ride tiny cycles whilst carrying umbrellas.
Pretend to slip on banana skins
Juggling on a unicycle.
Stuff like that mainly. How they got into a Spurs team I'll never know.

You do know that he has a squad number too don't you .

Hard to believe isn't it.

Are they really that dumb, Levy is the only reason they are there earning a fortune for being useless.

I'm sure Daniel would prefer better players at Spurs but we just cannot afford them. As said above we are not a top 4 team.

I'm just waiting for the day when we find out Pochettino is just a suit Levy wears to manage the team too.

Levy hires and fires managers. He's hired and fired too many, IMO.
I agree with you, but I would also argue that we aren't really any worse of for him having done that.
To put it another way, I don't think for one moment that we would be a regular top 4 side with our finances if he had stuck with any of the managers along the way.

Joking aside, if I was the chairman of Spurs I would definitely have squad number and force my manager to play me just once.
I can picture it now. 4-1 up to Rochdale in the capital one cup with ten minutes to go. Adebayor to come off with BSR, the supersub, to waddle on for the last 10 minutes. And in that context 'waddle' doesn't imply that I have the skills of the former Spurs legend.

In fact, my own post has made me happy as I had just given up hope of professional football.

hehe

I'm the club secretary of a Toolstation Western League side (tenth tier level) and every week, nag the manager to give me ten minutes in a game at some point. I'm 46, five stone overweight and dodgy knees but I'm hopeful that he will let me on the pitch at the end of the season. Top six in our division qualify for the preliminary rounds of the FA Cup so if everything's decided position wise by then, I'll bloody do it.

In other news, quite good fun watching this.

I like that. I sat next to Steffen Freund in the Viking boat at LEGOLAND not long since.
I was so pleased about it and yet there is literally nobody you could tell that to who would be remotely interested.
Can't believe I forgot to post it here where it would be appreciated.

I honestly don't understand the criticism of Levy.
His job is to manage the club and for it to be financially stable. He does that brilliantly.
That we are not a top 4 team is not his fault, it is the fact we simply do not have the financial clout to be one.
The only way that will change is with the new stadium, which he is doing.
Its not that we don't compete financially with the 'top 4' its that we don't even compete with Burnley http://transferleague.co.uk/league-tables/transfer...

As for this new stadium, what new stadium?? im supposed to be sitting in it right now and yet a brick still hasn't been laid.

.
Yes there is that. Something I cant seem to find out is whether we have an enormous pool of money towards the stadium, as logic dictates we should have.
If I knew the answer to that my opinion would be one of two extremes.
If he has £150m in unspent profit waiting to pay for a huge chunk of the stadium outright, then I would think he was the messiah that we have still got a reasonable squad and our future is bright.
If, on the other hand, as I have a nagging feeling might be the case,it turns out that there is no pile of money then I will be at the front of the queue calling for his incompetent pea-shaped head.

I think what the Manager needs to do is just play his first 11 in every game. And I mean every game. If someone gets tired or injured then replace that 1 player...but stop the inconsistency of 8 changes a game for Europa/Carling cup/Prem.

It's no wonder there is no consistency, you don't get used to playing with the same players.

.
And the fact that we aren't being told or shown is the most worrying, the money has to have gone somewhere it hasn't been spent on the team and I cant see this shiny new stadium...so where is it??

This is why Levy is getting stick and quite rightly.

According to press reports, he's trying to improve the recruitment process at WHL by poaching one of our top guys.

Hope it's little more than smoke and mirrors.

I heard on TalkSport this morning that there's a running joke in pro football about the lack of a Spurs scouting network.
