In all seriousness I'd love to know what these scouting teams actually do? Especially the big teams.

I'm sure it took a lot of skill and acumen for Utd to sign Shaw, Di Maria, Falcao, Rojo, Blind etc...they were hardly unheard of gems in the football world were they!?

I heard on TalkSport this morning that there's a running joke in pro football about the lack of a Spurs scouting network.
We have no scouts in Europe according to reports.

This is a strange one, Surely we have more than enough players to cope with two games a week, unless of course theres some truth in all these rumours of player unrest.

I do hope Levy gives our new man in charge at least a couple of years to make his mark & maybe a year or so out of Europa league thing could be a godsend.

Just put my little boy to bed, he's 2. I'm planning to take him to his first match at the lane when he is 4 maybe 5. With life expectancy on the up, odds on he might make it to 100, maybe more....that's best part of 100 years supporting the Spurs.....

I'm still getting over being taken to Upton Park 25 years ago, I think your kids should count themselves lucky.

The crazy thing is that my parents used to provide digs for Chelsea FC when they trained at Mitcham & often had the likes of Cooke,Osgood,Houseman & the likes knocking on the front door & we always had complementary season tickets for stamford bridge, I was lucky enough to see , Best, ball, Charlton, Law , Lee & of course the greatest of the all James Peter Greaves , What a player he was.

I blame it all on Jimmy

BCM

There were some good players back then eh?

you could fill a book on the ones that were around 1956-76. every team seemed to have at least two 'household names'

Took my lad to WHL for his 5th birthday to cement the deal, did the whole package, club shop a few bits of branded tat, wearing matching Dad and Son lettered kit, hotdogs from the noisy bloke behind the Paxton end.
We lost 2-3 to Newcastle and I'll never forget having to field the innocence of youth question 'Dad, Newcastle won, does that make them better why don't we support them?'
It was a long drive home...

(I've cured him now, he couldn't give a fk about footy)

Hoddle and waddle for me. We've had some top players over the years makes watching this current side so depressing
