Morning, He was bought in to score goals & sadly for us he hasn't. Harry Kane has proved that there is goals for Spurs forwards to be had.
They say that we have paid £16M up front for Soldado & the rest is performance related, as much as i want him to do well i feel he has had enough chances to prove himself & he just hasn't cut it with us, we need to get something back for him sharpish or we will end up doing our conkers on him.

I'm more concerned about Lamella (he seems to have disappeared again?) he does have the talent we've all seen that, his problem seems to be between the ears, we could end up taking a huge bath on him if he doesn't start coming good quickly.

He's young and seems to be very frantic at the moment, I hope with a year or so and a bit more maturity he'll come good. You could say the same about Eriksen - won the league before coming to you - 1 trophy in 25 years for you guys isn't it??
Markovich won the treble in Portugal last season & he cost a fortune, Hard to understand why he's gone from winning a lot to not really having much chance of winning anything.
Benteleb has more or less come through our youth system which in my opinion makes a huge difference , i'd much rather see our young players playing tbh.[/quote

The point i was trying to make was , that i'd much rather our home grown players be playing than watch us splash out silly money for foreign players , I know Spurs are as guilty as the rest but i'd just prefer to see our youth players playing .
Is it really just one in 25 years ?
