The new training ground cost @£50m. If it aided Kane, Mason, Bentaleb etc development, then it was money well spent.
Forgot about the training ground. I agree, Kane is already heading into the £30 mil bracket.

Shaw - 34 mil
Lallana - 25 mil
Kane is 21 on a long contract and has 20 goals already this season.

steady on!! The only European strikers I can think of who fit that bill are the big-name players who go for silly money.
im sure Im about to be proved wring with a list of premier league stters who have scored far more than I realised

I would suggest 2 seasons of 20+goals at his age will make him a fair bit more valuable still.

I was going to say the same thing. The only European strikers I can think of who fit that bill are the big-name players who go for silly money.

You only have to look at Shaw and Lallana that played in a Southampton team that finished 8th to see what the market is like for English players.

But these aren't their real values out there in the wide world they are stupid and perverse internal UK valuations. Nobody south of Dover is going to pay £25m for Lallana or £34m for Shaw. Thats why there are so very few English players plying their trade abroad.
And yet Madrid paid 86 mil for Bale. Football values have gone nuts...you need to re-calibrate to this.
