Spurs starting 11 yesterday was the youngest so far this season in the premiership.
That's an interesting fact .

Things are looking up at Spurs.

I'm assuming the Goons are going to blame the absence of Sanchez, Arteta & the traffic for yesterday's grubbing.

Benteleb, Mason, Walker, Rose,Kane all more or less came through our youth system, can only be a good thing. I know we got walker & Rose from Yorkshire but you get what i mean.

It's Spurs biggest game of the season, their players knew that and their fans made sure they never forgot it. The only envy I have about Spurs is the atmosphere that was generated yesterday, it was electtric and they really inspired their team.

As for excuses BCM there aren't any. However, I would make the observation that if we win the NLD we crow about it for a couple of days then move on, where as Spuds go on about if for months. There in lies the difference between the expectations of the two sets of supporters.

In short even in defeat I'm amused by the small club mentality of Spurs fans.
Hmmmmmmm. This from one fans who wants the managers head after one or two bad games, and then thinks he is the second coming when there is a brace of wins. Fickle doesn't even come into it. you are becoming the ManU of the south. Yoy hink you have a God given right to win everything

Jeeez, what the average Spurs fan would give for such stability and success over that period Wenger has been there. Well apart from watching boring crap football from mediocre players. Bergkamp. Veira and Henry apart, who i would have loved to see it a white shirt

Just keep stchumm you may regret getting what you wish for, you may even end up with chairman like ours whose idea of a successful season in the bank balance printed in black.
Perhaps MoPo is finally getting to where he wants to be, and i hope MiniMe doesnt go all arsetwitchy and go for our fourteenth manager of his chairmanship.becuase we finish fifth

You clearly don't know me.

I've become tired of explaining why I'm against Wenger and I'm not going to do so again. Either you've not bothered to read what I've said, you are unable to comprehend what I've said or you have the memory of a goldfish.

Nope. If the Arsenal players that went on that pitch yesterday showed the same passion, desire and determination as the Spurs side then potentially the outcome could have been different. We showed none of those characteristics and rightly got a bloody nose.

In all of the pages and pages of stuff rightly being written about HK this morning I'd like to acknowledge the role the rest of the team played yesterday and indeed have played recently.

Mason was outstanding as was Lloris when called upon. Walker was, well, Walker and I'm so happy that he's back, faults and all. Vert had an efficient game and Dier played well but I always feel he needs a bit more confidence than he currently has when defending.

It's Rose that I really want to mention as he's much maligned and yesterday was at fault for the first goal.

But this stat from a link on COYS is incredible

http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015/02/08/incredib...

Nobody from the defence or midfield (Mason, Eriksen, Benteleb included) spent more time in the Arses final third than Rose. Yesterday its why he fell out with Welbeck who was all over the place trying to keep him in check as time and again he raided the Goons right flank. I thought he was outstanding yesteday and clearly this style of attacking/pressing play is exactly what Poch wants and why Rose is the preferred left back over Davis. Overall for the season his tally of 17 instances in the opponents final third is the third highest of ANY spurs player this season.

I'm frightened to death by his defending but he's a hell of a thorn in the side of teams we're pressing against.

The difference between Spurs and Arsenal is that we know we aren't very good, whereas you think you are.

Neither club has any chance of winning the league whilst the doped clubs exist and neither club has any chance of winning the CL. Sure, you may qualify every year but at the start of each season, you have as much chance of winning it as we do. Zero. Every season for the last 6 or 7 years, the clubs have only been separated by a handful of points. We're much closer in ability than you'd care to admit. You may think that you are a cut above us because you play CL every season; that your competitors are Chelsea, Bayern, Barca and Madrd. But the truth is, you're just making up the numbers - like non-league clubs in the FA Cup.

We've been on an upward curve for the last 6-7 years - and we couldn't have got much lower! Whereas you've been on a downward curve over the same period. There is a little to separate the teams now, except for the NLD results.

We may have a small club mentality but that's because we know that we are, in the greater scheme of things. What's far more amusing is your big club mentality, when in fact your performances are nothing of the sort, unless you are only interested in the annual "Football Rich List Table".
