As you know, they now don't need us fans. They could almost afford to play in an empty ground. The Emirates is a tourist attraction now. WHL could become similar.

Of course, that won't happen to the Liverpool clubs as no self respecting tourist in their right mind would wish to travel to that dump.

Have a nice day.

I think they all stay in Chester and just go in for the game tbh. I feel sorry for the poor s that have to actually live there. Or any other major conurbation now I mention it, Manchester, Birmingham, London, all stholes full of too many people and things. Give me the sheep filled rolling hills any day of the week. I can watch cows from my kitchen.

Yoof of today innit. Want it all and want it now. Will we pay? My gut says we'll end up settling somewhere in the middle, about 120k. Which is fking ridiculous of course. However all the agents have their greedy eyes all over the telly money haven't they? No chance of ticket price reductions for the fans, it's all going to go in the player's pockets.
He probably wants pay parity with that other misfiring mysterious injury incurer at international time cry off Sturridge, So it seems another £150k a week or he's gonna bugger off like the toothy one did.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the wages table posted yesterday.

You're 6th, and are 6th. We're 5th, and are 5th. So we've got exactly what we've paid for. The miracle was last year, outperforming our spend. That'll be the exception rather than the rule.
Conveniently forgetting of course that you spent £100m and we spent nowt!

Yeah, you spent your 100m 12 months earlier. How's Lamela and Hatstand working out for you btw.

Much better than £50 million Andy Carrol or even £20 million Lovren.

Well that much is debatable. We paid 50m for Carroll now? Ok.

Ah yes apologies...the bargain basement 35 mil. You managed to rip off Chelsea for £50 million for probably the biggest failure in world football.

Statistically, Carroll was more of a success for us than Lamela is for you.

Scary stuff.

Don't forget old Rickie, he's really tearing it up this year.

That really puts it into perspective, wow. It's best that Spurs just write this season off as yet another failure.

Not really - 11 goals in 58 for Carroll with Lamela getting 4 in 38 for Spurs.

Carroll cost best part of £10m more, and is a striker as opposed to Lamela being a midfielder.

Lamela is also 3 years younger.

I'd say they're about even at the moment with age, skill and potential clearly on Lamela's side hehe

£45k a week buys a lot of Chewits, which would be much more enjoyable and a lot more useful smile

Lamela's goalscoring record makes Carroll look like Messi. Carroll outscores Lamela by around 2 to 1! yikes That is some feat.
