For this season Liverpool's net spend is £38,380,000 & the Tottenham one is -£1,250,000

That's a huge difference. Not to mention the huge wages you pay as well
Look at you with your facts laugh

I just can't be had by these outsiders making numbers up to support their argument .

As you can tell i'm the kind of guy that only deals in facts . biggrin

Nice to see a bit of footie banter back on PH though & this really is the only thread where it can happen isn't it.

Indeed, it'll be conveniently ignored by some though.

Not even close I'm afriad.

Net spend:
14/15 = - 1.25 mil
13/14 = - 9.8 mil
12/13 = - 1.3 mil
11/12 = - 27 mil

http://www.transferleague.co.uk/tottenham-hotspur/...

Frankly the fact Tottenham are still towards the top having not spent a bean in years is remarkable.
Sorry just went off this, first one that came up

Fair enough...and as a supporter of another team I wouldn't expect you to know the ins and outs but the one obvious mistake is they've listed Davies coming in for 10 mil and Sigi going to Swansea as a Swap.

There are some others with that the sources differ by a million here and there, but that's the one that stands out.

Who started this same old argument about what club is considerably richer than the other one?

Let me guess.

Kyle Naughton is missing from that list.

When I couldn't give two sts about something I tend not to comment.

I blame Blib though.

If the reported fee structure agreed with Madrid is true, then we'd only need to pay £10m or so to re-sign him. NEVER going to happen though, unless some Petro-Dollar Oligarch buys the club and thinks that £300k a week is loose change...
No. But the rest of the fee structure has already been committed to all those players you bought when Bale was signed so you'll still need the balance of those Bale payments!

That's how much the TV deal is paying per game, not what each club will receive. The domestic TV deal will pay anything between £80-100m to each club, each year.

Yep,. totally correct

And that figure is why fans need to stop getting so worked up about players earning 100k a week or 130k a week - these wages are going to keep on going up the more the premiership gets valuable. The players are the ones that make it sell-able so their agents are bound to want a big chunk of it.
